7 Mind-Altering Facts About The Milky Way Galaxy: Our Galactic Home

According to the best estimates by astronomers from around the world, there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe. As for the parts of the universe we can’t see? Who knows. Within these billions (if not trillions) of galaxies are billions (if not trillions) of stars… Quite mind-altering, isn’t it? It is literally beyond our ability to comprehend.

1. New research coming from a team of international scientists led by Professor Heidi Jo Newberg of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute suggests that the Milky Way Galaxy is at least 50 percent larger than what is commonly believed. These estimates are based on new findings that reveal our galaxy is contoured into multiple concentric ripples. This means that the Milky Way Galaxy is not 100,000 light years across, but at least 150,000 light years across. (source)

How To Activate Your Manifesting Ability (2 Steps)

When we’re looking to manifest something in our lives, we’re essentially asking for change.

Change is a natural part of life and it happens every second of every day. When we resist a part of the process of change, we inevitably get stuck.

We feel stuck when we do one or both of these two things:

1. We want something in our lives, but we are not willing to invest the time, energy, and resources into making it happen.

2. We refuse to let something go in order for the change to be made manifest.

When we’re looking to create change we must be willing to redistribute our time, energy, and resources.

Footage Of Sasquatch? University Professor Shows Evidence Of A Large Unidentified Bipedal Being That Still Lives

Jeffrey Meldrum, PhD, and professor of Anatomy and Anthropology at Idaho State university shows us (in the video below) the strongest evidence for a large, bipedal humanoid being that is still roaming the planet today. As Meldrum states in the video, the most convincing evidence for the existence of a ‘Sasquatch,’ also commonly referred to as ‘Bigfoot,’  are the tracks that have been found by researches in remote, forest covered areas in North America, and these tracks number in the hundreds.

I am not saying that ‘Sasquatch’ or ‘Bigfoot’ is real. With this article, I am simply trying to show people that this ‘fringe’ topic is taken very seriously by a number of people. The examples used in this article are a few out of many from researchers that have spent decades looking at the evidence. Unfortunately, no matter how much evidence there is pointing to the fact that a subject needs to be examined more seriously,  topics like this one are still instantly ridiculed without any attention paid to the many people take it seriously, and these are no ‘crack pot’ people…

How Creativity & Civil Disobedience Can Change Food

A soft, corporate dictatorship with financial, academic, and regulatory reach has kept the revolutionary spirt of the population at bay through a false narrative to label genetically modified food. The People have voted to stop chemical pesticide and herbicide testing in their communities only to be ignored, while at the local level, agrochemical products are destroying farmers and families. Hospitals are turning a blind eye and most doctors are clueless about the signs and symptoms of pesticide and herbicide exposure.

Perhaps labels were never the answer for a corporate monopoly whose intent is to patent life. As communities are invaded by chemical companies cloaked as agricultural progress, is it wise to use vital revolutionary energy still attempting to attach a label onto their known toxic products? While looking the other way, our children are slowly poisoned by chemicals we are still arguing to name and categorize. At what point does this new threat to communities be seen for what it is?

How Sacred Science Addresses What Modern Physics Ignores

In a recent attempt to understand how conventional physics “explains” reality, I began to read Lawrence Krauss’ A Universe from Nothing

Krauss is one of those famous scientists like Richard Dawkins who doesn’t find anything strange about the fact that existence IS.

Instead he takes EVERYTHING for granted and attacks, like Dawkins and Bill Maher, the low hanging fruit of organized religion and its dogmatic, unproven Gods created in our image.

When I tried reading his book I got a bit frustrated and then checked the index for the word “consciousness,” and when I did not find it, I put the book aside.

The question really is – “what” exactly is “nothing.”

First and foremost it is a concept.  Nothing does not exist.  What exists is, well, everything.

Russian Government To Ban All GMO Food Products To Protect Citizens

What was once a taboo topic of conversation has now become so widely discussed that pretty well the entire world seems to have developed an opinion about it. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) have entered the mainstream vernacular so thoroughly that an entire country has publicly stated their stance on and intended action plan for the agricultural method.

At an international conference on biotechnology Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Arkady Dvorkovich, announced that the country will be eliminating the production of genetically modified food:

As far as genetically-modified organisms are concerned, we have made decision not to use any GMO in food productions…. This is not a simple issue, we must do very thorough work on division on these spheres and form a legal base on this foundation.

Sweden Is Shifting To A 6-Hour Work Day – Why The Rest Of The World Should Consider It Too

The country of Sweden continues to be on the cutting edge of developing and implementing positive practices.

In September of last year we covered how Sweden’s approach to garbage and recycling is so effective that only 1% of that waste ends up in landfills. Just last week, several media outlets (including ecowatch.com) covered how the country was on the verge of becoming one of the world’s first fossil fuel-free nations. And now Sweden is successfully redefining the 40 hour work week by the widespread implementation of the 6 hour work day.

The Traditional 40 Hour Work Week

The 40 hour work week is something that most of the world has not only become accustomed to, but has grown to accept. Despite this acceptance, many of us often find ourselves drained week after week, regularly drifting out of focus when at work and eagerly awaiting the point where we can celebrate 5pm on a Friday.

Consciousness Is Rising. Here’s Proof As Trillions Of Dollars Are Being Pulled Out Of Old Ways

The collective power of one movement, 2000+ individuals, and 400 institutes, equals 2.6 trillion dollars — all being divested from old, unclean energy sources such oil, coal, and gas. Right now, Leonardo DiCaprio is just as fired up as the Divestment movement is, and for the first time in a long time, a clear message is being sent not only to world leaders, but also, perhaps more importantly, to corporations.

The message comes in a language they certainly know well, and that is dollars. The divestment movement is asking institutions whose profits are derived from oil, gas, and coal to simply divest that money into renewable energy sources and climate solutions. This time last year the world’s largest private bank, UBS, was urging investors to join the clean, renewable energy movement. Analysts at the bank said that power plants in Europe might be extinct within the next 10 to 20 years. According to an economic analysis report done by Arabella Advisors, factors contributing to people becoming more aware about our planet and how we are impacting it are apparent. Here are highlights of the report and what some of the numbers show.

Study Shows Cannabis May Successfully Treat PTSD

PTSD occurs in people who go through extreme emotional trauma involving a perceived threat of death or severe injury. It is a debilitating disorder that causes a person to relive the traumatic event in the form of nightmares or disturbing visual flashbacks throughout the day. Other possible symptoms of PTSD include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, emotional numbness, insomnia, aggressiveness, or irritability.

PTSD is most often associated with veterans who experienced extreme brutality in war, but it can also be brought on by traumatic events such as rape, physical assault, car accidents, or any other devastating experience that throws a person into a state of shock. A person can also develop symptoms of PTSD from trauma of mild to moderate stress that is chronic or common in occurrence, such as the stress experienced by individuals with chronic and debilitating illnesses.

This Company Is Using DNA To Sniff Out GMOs In Our Food Supply

Clear Labs, a startup company that sequences human genomes in clinical trials, has recently raised 6.5 million in a Series A Funding to create a molecular data index that includes allergen and contamination data in hopes of becoming the “Google of food.”

“Our aim is really to build this comprehensive database upon which we can make food indexable, searchable and with all the types of genetic analytics you can run on top of that,” Ghorashi told TechCrunch over the phone.

For the past two years, Clear Labs has been collecting samples in the United States and analyzing them for genetic collection. (1) The company now holds the world’s largest database of food genetic markers and it wants to use the data to change how manufacturers manage the food supply.

Unlike other resources that monitor food contamination, Clear Labs aims to index all pre-made foods into their genomic database. Thus, they are seeking to create a future where food manufacturers can be proactive in food safety rather than reactive to outbreaks and recalls.
