Thanks to Expanded Consciousness for discovering this article:

“Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.”
Brian Tracy

“A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.”
John Augustus Shedd

People often get stuck in mostly discussing or reading about making positive changes. Instead of spending that time and effort on actually making the changes they want in life.

Why?

One big reason in my experience is simply that it is uncomfortable to step outside of your own comfort zone.

So what can you do about it?

In this article I’d like to share three habits that have helped me to make it easier to step outside of my own comfort zone and to make real changes in my life.

The Art of the Whispers - Knowing Whispers

will's picture
The whispers are not mine, yet they are a part of me. I can feel them inside waiting to be expressed and molded into something that reveals the truth within.  They connect me with my source.

I do not argue or debate them.  It is my work to feel them and then follow where they lead me as they seduce my heart and take me on an inner journey of self-realization and discovery.

The whispers began years ago as I was reading a post from someone in a Facebook news feed.  Not understanding why, I suddenly felt compelled to respond.

Whispers are more real to me than the “me” that is my ego and mind. They feel permanent, unlike the mind or ego. They do not change with the winds of time and space. They are me and yet it seems they are not. I am perplexed at times and amazed as I channel their content through me.

A successful life - Positive Thoughts

will's picture

A successful life is one that is lived through understanding and pursuing one’s own path, not chasing after the dreams of others.

You have to do what’s right for you; no one else walks in your shoes.

Accept the things you can’t change.

What you resist, persists.  If you are resisting something, you are feeding it.  Any energy you actively fight, you are feeding.  If you are using negative energy to push something away, you are inviting it to stay.

Choose to accept what is, be positive and proactive, let go of the need to control every tiny detail, and embrace peace in the process.

Staying in surrender and flow allows you to have the tangible experience of the unconditional love and support the universe is so willing to provide you. It lets you experience the magic of your faith in action, as a powerful and loving force in your life, that is always there to guide and assist you. As you feel that unconditional love, you will begin to accept your worthiness as a beloved part of the whole and a profound reconnection to Source that is incredibly moving and healing. It is all there, Dear Ones, just patiently waiting for you to choose as a new means of empowered living. ~Archangel Gabriel

Pineal Gland: Portal of Higher Dimensions

Isis Ra's picture

One of the most wondrous parts of our physical body is the Pineal Gland.  It is also called the epiphysis cerebri, epiphysis, conarium or the “Third Eye.” It is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces serotonin and melatonin, hormones that affect mood and modulate our wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions. Its shape resembles a tiny pinecone (hence its name in Latin, pinea, which means “pinecone”), and it is located near the center of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies join.

Even though this gland is hidden deep inside the brain and is only the size of a pea, it has been an almost fanatical obsession of masters, mystery schools and religions throughout the ages. Rene Descartes, the famous philosopher dedicated much of his life to studying the pineal gland, stating it is the “principal seat of the soul”. He believed it is the connection between the physical body and the mind/soul. We also see it playing prominent in the writings of Pythagoras, Plato, and Iamblichus, as well as in Egyptian, Tibetan and Roman Catholic Church. It is even mentioned by the Founding Fathers of the USA.

Old Souls And The Completion Of The Incarnation Cycle

Isis Ra's picture

Those undergoing the fifth and final stage of reincarnation are known as old souls. In this stage of soul evolvement there is a search for balance and completion, and an urge to pass on the torch before the end of reincarnation.

The Journey’s End

Having completed the fourth stage of reincarnation, the soul has come a long way.

- In the first stage, as an infant soul, it learned about physical existence, life and death, and the need for nurturing.

- In the second stage, as a baby soul, it learned about society, culture and community, the need for structure, belonging, and playing a role.

- In the third stage, as a young soul, it learned about free will and self-determination, taking charge of its own destiny, rising to the challenge.

Sharing the Truth - Knowing Whispers

will's picture

Like many rays of light focusing up on an object, the truth becomes clearer within us as we share from the awareness within our hearts.

It is no coincidence that you are here or that we are here.

The closer to the truth we become in our awareness the deeper our understanding of reality grows and our experience of it within ourselves.

We are each candles of light burning dimly, but as the candle power increases the whole room of our individual awareness glows brighter.

Selling Out! - Knowing Whispers

will's picture

Awareness is only a business if you are selling ideas.

Many seek to promote and sell the image of awareness as an idea, but they lack the substance within their own awareness to be truthful enough to accomplish it.

It is a gift of consciousness and cannot be bought or sold.

When it is sold as ideas without awareness it is cheapened in a similar way as someone telling you that they love you and don’t mean it, understand it, or show it. Sincerity of effort does not equal the quality of real content or real awareness.

You do not become aware by educating the mind and you are not helping others by selling the idea of awareness.

HEALING ANGER..... - Christa Bonnet

will's picture

We live in a very angry and judgmental society. There is a lot of anger and resentment between people who is suppose to love and support each other, between religions, gender, race and even generations. It is very unproductive and doesn't help things. HOW CAN WE DEAL WITH ANGER BETTER?

A wise woman once said that to be angry is to be out of control and so someone who is angry deserves my LOVE and COMPASSION more than ever. In the beginning of this journey this was hard to grasp but I have learned over time that if each of us can stay in our own PEACE and PATIENCE and keep our SELF-RESPECT, each of us can help others to do the same. When we see people's good qualities, we EMPOWER both ourselves and them. This is true generosity.

By reaching a place of PEACE inside, we can share that feeling with other people so that they can free themselves from their own anger. Dear friends, if someone throw something at you, like an insult or an angry comment, you have a CHOICE: you can just let it drop and leave it lying there OR you can act on your anger and fuel the fire. By not picking up another person's angry is very different from suppressing anger. SUPPRESSING anger is still making their anger yours but suppressed ANGER is very dangerous as it will either blow up one day externally and harm people or blow up inside and harm the body through illness. By not picking up on another person's anger, you protect yourself and at the same time give them the chance to take it back.
