When it comes to living life, we spend almost 100% of our time living as an avatar.  We have an ego, a personality, a history, preferences, dislikes, beliefs, opinions, cultural viewpoints, and experiences. These ingredients comprise our ‘person’ and our worldly sense of self. But beneath all of these human ingredients lies one which is the foundation of all of them.  Without this ingredient, this avatar would not exist. This ingredient is the soul.

The soul is timeless, eternal, and infinitely wise. Our “intuition” is really just our soul whispering into the ear of our person.  You soul is not separate from you, but it will feel separate if you live life operating only from a personal or egoic level of consciousness.  Since the soul is the fountainhead of wisdom of guidance, it is always trying to communicate with us, especially in times where we are experiencing great suffering.

If you read my articles often, you probably know that I think music is one of the most spiritual things we can enjoy. I have reggae music to thank for this opinion, and I’ve always been impressed by how Rastas and other spiritual musicians impart their perspectives and philosophies into their music.

No matter how we feel about life and spirituality, if we practice music in conjunction with meditation or another form of consciousness exploration, it can help us elevate our consciousness while filling us with a sense of excitement and eternal enjoyment.

Music harnesses the sacred power of sound to help us raise our vibration, and like meditation or anything else, all it takes to get the most out of it is commitment. Not only will we get better and better if we play continuously – we’ll also increase our reception to music’s spiritual properties.

What will you do today, my love?  Will you spend your day in pursuit of things like gossip, negative self-talk, worrying or, Heaven forbid, hating another human being?  Or…will you spend that time more wisely by loving yourself, releasing old hurts and pains or, perhaps, giving something to another that money just cannot buy?
It is now common knowledge that you were given the gift of free will and not even I can take that away from you.  This gave (and gives) you the best opportunity to experience your Earth plane in a way that only you can experience it.  Remember to choose wisely and lovingly, my darling child. ~ Creator

The history of astrology is in many ways the history of a polemic. The question of whether astrology works, as crucial as it is, is soon buried under other issues, such as what this might have to say about human free will and whether the stars and planets that govern our fates are benign, malevolent, or neither. These issues have been debated for thousands of years.

Before we get into them, however, we should probably begin with why astrology is the way it is. To do this, we have to imagine what ancient people saw and how they explained it. In the first place, they would have found that there are seven bodies in the sky that move (or, as we would say today, appear to move) around the earth. These are the sun and the moon as well as five planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The rest of the planets are invisible (except for Uranus, under some circumstances) to the naked eye.
