Did you know that you could be entertaining angels? And did you know that YOU are an angel? I just wanted to share what happened to April and I last night on Christmas Eve. Seeing good will and peace on earth in action is so heart lifting and being able to be a part of it is sooooo much better. As you all know our sweet little grandchild came into this beautiful world at 11:05pm on Christmas Eve. After getting to meet her and spending time with our beautiful family and friends (who are family too) April and I left the hospital at 2 am this morning Christmas Day. April went out to the parking complex to get the car while I waited in the warm entrance of the Emergency room. I was beaming and much higher than on cloud 9 glowing with love and joy. At that time a wonderful angel was leaving the Emergency room. She was there because she had a severe asthma attack. She sat down next to me and we started talking. Remember this is 2 am during a snow storm. She was a bit upset and I wished her a Merry Christmas. I learned that she had just been treated and that she had a 2 hour wait for a taxi to come pick her up and was getting ready to call to have them pick her up. I asked her where she lived, which just happened to be on our way home. I told her we would be more than happy to take her home and she was very grateful and offered me money. I told her that wasn't necessary it was CHRISTMAS. April brought the car around at that time and we got into it. She was so amazed that we had offered her a ride just when she needed it. I told her that all of our need are supplied, you just have to have the loving heart intention behind it. She called us angels and we started having a wonderful conversation. When we pulled out onto the main road we were stopped by a stop light. All of the sudden a man came over to us waving his arms in the air. He had on no coat and it was at least 5 degrees outside. We rolled down the window and he walked over to the car. He than explained to us through tears and lots of emotions that he was on his way to Pueblo for his mothers funeral, and that his father was sick. He was on his way to Pueblo and someone had broken into his car and took everything. He asked if we could help him out. We smiled and our new passenger handed him 40 dollars as April and I dipped into our wallets. We told him Merry Christmas and to have a safe trip. He was so overwhelmed he called us ANGELS and thanked us with loving gratitude. After we dropped off our ANGEL passenger April and I were filled with sooooo much joy we sang christmas carols all the way home. So my friends, the next time that homeless person is on the street corner, or someone just has a need that you can provide. Why not just do it and than you can feel the love and joy too.Merry Christmas to all Peace and Good will to all everyday in everyway! Love and light! We love you.
