Winter Storm Virgil Targets Mid-Atlantic Monday [1]

Winter Storm Virgil is making its final stop today in the Mid-Atlantic after delivering a swath of significant snowfall from the central Rockies to the Midwest over the weekend.

The storm brought nearly a foot of snow toDenver [2] and 15 inches of snow to Goodland, Kan. [3] on Saturday. St. Louis [4] picked up 12.4 inches of snow on Sunday, making it the second snowiest calendar day on record. In Illinois,Springfield [5] saw 18.5 inches from Virgil.
