Monday’s Full Moon [3] in the very first degree of Aquarius [4], with the Sun [5] in the first degree of fiery Leo [4], brings new factors to this month’s challenging and beautifully deep astrology, namely the Air and Fire elements. Relationship, consciousness and growth are therefore more greatly emphasized. The Sun [5], now in Fire as he changes signs, represents for each one of us an enhanced sense of self, as the Sun [5] moves away from the predominately feeling tone of his month-long sojourn in the watery sign of Cancer [4]. The Water element is still present in great intensity, as Jupiter [5] in Cancer [4], Saturn [5] in Scorpio [4] andNeptune [5] in Pisces [4] continue their dance, with Saturn [5] and Neptune [5] in perfect trine, and with Jupiter [5] conjunct Mars [5] just a degree past the point of exact grand trine. Mercury [5], having changed to direct motion this past weekend, is also to be found in emotional Cancer [4], and furthermore makes an exact trine with Chiron [5], the Wounded Healer; thus bringing as it stations an extraordinary measure of consciousness to our interior depths and to the ancient trauma lodged within us.
