Spin
It’s crazy out there. Just wild. What’s up with the planets, right?
It doesn’t seem to matter where you are, how old you are or what your belief system is, life shifted into overdrive in the past month. And it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
I’m hearing similar observations from people of all ages, all over the world. They describe a rumbling, churning, chaos. One woman says she feels like she’s in a blender set on “whip.” Lots of people feel uncomfortable, edgy or emotional. Anxiety is common. Bliss, too.
“Time” is a new and different concept. It seems to be speeding up, or there’s not enough of it. In this new reality, there is no time.
What happened?
There we were, cruising along with the incredible lightness of being with the eclipses and Venus transit a month or so ago. The expansion was exquisite. Then the Solstice came, and a few days later Uranus and Pluto lined up for the first of seven exact squares that will continue over the next three years. Early July unleashed a fresh blast of creative flow that’s amazing if you’re in sync with it and devastating if you’re not. (Either way, it’s hard to keep up.)
There might be a collective sigh of relief with the upcoming Mercury retrograde period (July 14-August 7), except that Uranus is also stationing and will head back for another pass with Pluto. And now Mars enters the scene, forming a volatile t-square with the locked-in Uranus-Pluto square.
This won’t be your typical Mercury retrograde, but all the standard suggestions apply. It’s time for retreat, reconsideration and reorganization, plus maintenance and repairs on computers, cars and anything techno or mechancial.

What’s next?
As an astrologer, I’d say this is our new way of life for the next three years and beyond. There’s a new normal taking shape. It’s creative and exciting – and disconcerting. I mean, who’s comfortable living in a blender?
Connecting with the pulse of creation seems to be the ticket to navigating the speeded-up, turn-on-a-dime flow these days. It’s a volatile, unpredictable adventure. Trying to control or plan much of anything is futile, but we can dream, create vision, and let the magic happen. Grounded, feet-on-the-Earth practices help, too.
Accelerated clearing is possible within this field. Emotional releases happen spontaneously. Like many others, I feel compelled to get rid of physical possessions, donating anything usable to someone who will benefit. It’s a paring down, streamlining, reorganizing, getting light so I can be more responsive.
It also seems important to commit and take action when possible. And to let go, be creative, play and have more fun.
