Syria's Internet Reportedly Shut Down (UPDATES) [1]

Internet service throughout Syria apparently went down on November 29.

The country, embroiled in a civil war, dropped offline at 10:26 a.m. UTC (12:26 p.m. local Damascus time), according to research firm Renesys.

"In the global routing table, all 84 of Syria's IP address blocks have become unreachable, effectively removing the country from the Internet," reads a post on the company's blog, published on Thursday morning.
