A record warm spring coupled with a slow start to snowfall this season is sending some Midwest cities into snowless streaks that are nearing record territory.

Chicago, Ill. [2], Des Moines, Iowa [3], Milwaukee, Wis. [4] and Omaha, Neb. [5] are among the cities that have yet to record measurable snow this fall. Measurable snow is defined as 0.1 inches or more of snow accumulation.
