Stromboli (Eolian Islands, Italy) [4]: Lava continues to overflow from the NE crater, which also sometimes produces quite strong explosions.
Pacaya (Guatemala) [5]: Residents of San Francisco de Sales (San Vincente) village at the foot of the volcano reported having heard explosion sounds overnight.
INSIVUMEH has not found other evidence of new surface activity and concludes that the sounds came from internal activity.
