Weather helps against California wildfire [1]

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Firefighters made significant progress Saturday against a large wildfire near Los Angeles, aided by cooler temperatures, higher humidity and calmer winds.

The fire, still at 28,000 acres, was 56% contained, state fire officials reported.
