All my life I have pondered your existence

Wondered how you would be

Were you in the air I breath or in the tree?

I thought I would have to die to see

 

Through my childhood and my teens

You were just a glimmer in the sky

I loved the stars and how they made me feel

This is where I thought you to be

 

Finding my feet and creating life

I needed you more than ever

I couldn’t find you, sinking deeper

Drowning in despair

 

Watching my family grow I watched myself grow

People, situations and life changed me

It was up to me to be....

The change I want to see

 

Well here I am, I have remembered so much

Where I have been...the sweetness

Little did I know that what I was pondering
