What’s the Big Deal?

Homeowners, experts, doctors, local governments, environmentalists and health organizations around the world are saying NO to “smart” meters, which are quietly being installed on every home and business [3] worldwide – without disclosure of the risks and the violations of rights

Smart Meter and Smart Grid Key Issues

The smart grid [4] is increasingly understood as an over engineered, ill-advised, financial boondoggle at taxpayer expense, capable of endangering the security of the entire national grid, violating constitutional privacy protections and endangering public health. In addition, the smart grid/metering has not been found to save energy [4] when all the new variables in the system are factored in. Plus, time-of-use pricing is largely punitive to those who can least afford it. Time-of-use pricing is fundamentally a Wall Street model designed to maintain shareholder profits as we transition to more energy efficient [4] models that will reduce demand.

espite hundreds of thousands of people experiencing negative health [5] effects following “smart” meter installation, there have been no health studies undertaken by any regulatory agency to demonstrate safety, prior to mass deployment upon populations around the globe. This is rather astonishing, when one considers that there are thousands of published studies which do show clear health risks to this type of chronic microwave radiation exposure [6].

In this total absence of regulatory responsibility, Dr. Darren Schmidt of The Nutritional Healing Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan visually summarizes real-world data now being collected on negative health effects caused by installed “smart” meters. Data and charts are both from his own patients’ experiences and lab work; and the work of other independent researchers. The first 10 minutes are foundational information, then specific effects on humans are shown.
