HJ: Happiness is ultimately the product of acceptance of what is happening in your life, no matter how ‘good’ or ‘bad’.  It is a byproduct of the transcendence of dualistic ideals of good or bad.  That is unconditional happiness. Conditional happiness is fleeting at best and gets you caught in a vicious cycle of up and down, always chasing the good and ignoring the wisdom and beauty of the ‘bad’.  But in truth all experiences are neutral until we project our own judgements on them.  And therein lies one of the keys to being radiantly happy.  To stop judging and starting seeing the wisdom in every moment, perfect as is no matter how challenging.
