This Injured Dolphin Asked For Help. What Would You do? [1]

This is one of those stories that’s hard to forget! Keller Laros was in for the surprise of his life during a night dive last January at Gadren Eel Cove in Hawaii. A Bottlenose Dolphin was caught in a fishing line, and he came to Keller looking for help.

The dolphin’s pectoral fin was wrapped around a fishing line and it had a hook stuck in its skin. Fortunately, Laros had scissors and was able to free the injured mammal. All of this was caught on film  by Martina Wing [2]. Incredible! What would you do if a dolphin approached you needing help?
