  • A UFO [3]that appeared during the Olympics opening ceremony in London is arousing a lot of speculation. The unidentified flying object was seen flying through the air just above a brilliant fireworks display that signaled the start of the 2012 Olympics [4] on Friday, July 27, 2012.

    Every moment of the 2012 Olympics is being recorded, broadcast and scrutinized, so it comes as no surprise that multiple viewers spotted the UFO [5]. There are plenty of theories circulating about the identity of the unidentified flying object, but one viewer has taken it one step further by preparing a side by side comparison of the Olympics UFO [6]with a photograph of an unidentified flying object from the 1940s.
