Dana Colour Pic NewLately, a lot of us have been feeling a strong re-emergence of the Divine Feminine both within us and around us. So many qualities that have for so long been seen as weak (expressing our emotions, feeling compassion and empathy for others), less valuable (creative artists and traditional ‘feminine’ roles like teachers and nurses (not) being paid what they deserve) and disregarded (our intuition as a source of knowledge) are now coming to the surface from the spaces that they have been hiding in and pushed down into. 

As this happens, the Divine Masculine is by default becoming more balanced. The patriarchal system we’ve been living within has been the Masculine on steroids. As one side of the see-saw goes up, the other side must come down. Yet it is a healthy down, a retreat toward a more balanced version of the Masculine, one that plays a positive supportive role toward its loved ones instead of suffocating and restricting them like an overly-authoritative parent.

We are not swapping Masculine authority for Feminine, only the Feminine qualities are receiving a lot of focus now because they are experiencing an uprising, while the Masculine is gearing down, as we attempt to get this healthy balance happening.

Last night I awoke into a full body-mind-spirit event. It was a total immersion into Oneness, and the Wisdom that IS that ONEness in-formed me, by demonstration, for a few hours that THIS is what “the event” is. I fully expected to wake up in the morning and receive the confirmation that it did, in fact, occur for everyone. So far though, I am beginning to decipher that what I experienced was a preview for what every human being will enter into in our own timing of this intersection, or Meeting with our Maker.

I am not able to share all of the understandings that are integrating now, so I will share what simply bubbles up and out as I write this morning. Let’s be clear, this sharing is a result of my direct experience and then my best attempts to translate it into language.

Understand that I do not use the phrase “the Event” normally, but since I am trying to convey this through language, I am encouraged to use words and phrases that people can identify with. Personally, I dislike using “popular” spiritual words and phrases because it triggers the intellect and its obsession with searching the mind for matching files from the past in order to protect the mind from having to feel any further discomfort with something “new” or “unknown”. Hell, we could call it the big “Poodle Proceeding” for all I care.

TaiChiBalanceAs Mars continues to come to a standstill before going retrograde on March 2, 2014, the pressure of the standstill arches over all things. Situations and people are under stress and tensions are tight. One of the key themes of Mars is movement. It likes to burst into action. But when it is preparing to retrograde, it cannot move. The process of stationing retrograde (going backwards) is contrary to Mars’ nature because it likes to launch forward. Being in relative “stasis” is an uncomfortable feeling for us, even when we are wise to the directive for the lunar month that tells us to stand in place.

The pressure this can put on people is immense. But other energetics are also in effect today to confuse the mix. The energies include the tendency to overtax, overwhelm, or overburden. The tendency to do too much is at odds with the feeling of not being able or capable of doing anything. So we do not want to engage that loop today. We want to keep things smooth and light.

Be mindful that it is easy to overwhelm the mind today (our own and other’s mind), especially through communication. Important communication should be simple, clear, and easy. Deliver information at a lower level so it is easier for people to understand and do it slowly.

You hear so many times. “Let go. Don’t be attached. Free yourself from the past.” Of course, holding on to the past isn’t moving forward. It makes you stuck. And you may be stuck to the past in ways you don’t have any idea of. You don’t know what unconsciously from the past makes you repeat patterns that do not stand you in good stead. When something upsets you, you figure it is the something that upsets you, as if your upset is justified by outside events. Upset comes from internal events.

You may feel comfortable with someone from the first meeting, or you may feel uncomfortable with someone from the first meeting. Someone may subconsciously remind you of a teacher, or an aunt, or a mother, or a father, or a sister, or a brother, and it is that hidden memory you are reacting to. This is not just a theory, beloveds. It is not everyone or anyone you start out with from a clear slate.

You may be familiar with, perhaps, at one time in your life, holding a strong opinion, and today you hold a different opinion. You had a bias, and now you have a different bias. Once you disapproved of something and now you approve, or, once you approved of something that now you don’t. It could be a total reversal or partial. In any case, you are open to one way of thinking now and less open or closed to another. This you are consciously aware of.

IMG_6036On Valentine’s Day, I was giddy with love. I wore a flower in my hair, drove to a small gathering singing my heart out, dressed in shades of pink, I toned and danced to waves of love. I spent the evening alone with the fire and my heart, and felt so loved and appreciated for who I am. I knew myself as love and the flame was blazing high.

So many people live their lives in an attempt to please others. They don’t rock the boat, they put everyone else’s wishes above their own, and do everything they can to avoid upsetting others. They try to ensure other people’s happiness through their actions. While we know this comes from a place that seeks love and acceptance, it is doomed to fail. Let us tell you why.

The idea that you can make another person happy is completely faulty. You may temporarily please another, but if they are dependant upon you for their emotional state, they will never find happiness because happiness cannot be found from an external. Happiness must come from within. Because they are looking to an external to make them whole, and that will never, ever work, they will come to resent you for not being able to make them happy. You will find you will have to perform greater and greater feats to try to please them, which will only lead to your own exhaustion and resentment, and ultimate disappointment.

We are here today to bring your attention to the topic of self-love.  We return to this over and over because it so important.  Perhaps today we can give a different perspective of the subject and make it a bit easier for you to understand and move into the energy of it more readily.

When you think of the word love, your current understandings are weighted down quite heavily with ideas of romance, sacrifice, impossibly long lasting emotions, and all the other baggage which has sold so many songs, films, books, and television programs for many, many years.  The love we speak of is not an emotion.  Some languages have no word for the idea of love that your society has promoted for so long.  That seems so strange to you.  In your past there were, in other languages, many different words to define many kinds of love.  That also seems strange to you.  But we speak of the energy which is the very stuff of which everything that is, is composed of.  Now we know that, in your current intellectual understandings of the make-up of the universe, that makes no sense at all.  You have been taught to think of the cosmos as a giant mechanism that can be explained and measured.  It cannot be, but that is not important here.
