Typhoon Haiyan (local name Yolanda) continues to plow through the Philippines, bringing destruction to the islands along its path.

While interaction with the islands has caused Haiyan's winds to decrease from its peak of 315 kph (195 mph), it remains a powerful and dangerous typhoon as it moves over the western Philippines Friday night, local time.

In advance of the cyclone, nearly 750,000 people were evacuated according to the Associated Press. At least four people have been confirmed dead with more injured and missing.

The UK government has been conducting a massive spying operation on private, diplomatic and business communications of the Middle East and North Africa regions as well as Europe through its military base in Cyprus, media reports say.

A cross-European media team carried out a joint investigative research, whose findings revealed that Britain’s Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) had installed spying devices in the military base in Cyprus, where many trans-Mediterranean fiber-optic cables from the Middle East, North Africa and Europe come ashore, according to the reports.

Services across Greece shut down Wednesday as unions staged a 24-hour general strike and held peaceful demonstrations to protest further austerity cuts in the cash-strapped country.

The strike disrupted public transport, halted ferry and train services, shut down courts and state-run schools, and left state hospitals and the ambulance service functioning with emergency staff.

A Fall Day Walk - Photo by PocahontasBrandy.Channeled through Wes Annac, The Aquarius Paradigm

The evolution of humanity has been on a full course to manifest for centuries of your time, but has been accelerated in the last century as more souls are led to understand things they would’ve previously been closed-off to.

We note the deepening spiritual searches many of you find yourselves embarking on, and we can only encourage your quests and remind you that we’re forever here with you and that it’s only the extent to which you convince yourselves we’re not that determines your experience of us.

If you can allow yourselves to believe and know, truly know, that we’re real and with you, walking by your side in every moment, then you’ll experience a strong and constantly replenished connection with us.

If you let yourselves stray away from the belief that we’re real and with you, then you’ll naturally experience what you’ve sewn for yourselves. The point we wish to drive home is that you’re forever the Creators of your experience and just where you choose to go from here will be decided not by us, but by you.

Expanding Horizons

We note with Love and joy the progress being made on your spiritual paths as many of you seek to deepen your understanding of everything based in the spiritual, and as you deepen your searches your horizons expand in every sense.

We are in a time of transformational change. The opportunity is here to reverse the destruction wrought by rigged corporate trade agreements and to demand trade that is fair and promotes sustainable practices. There is no reason trade cannot improve the lives of workers and people around the world, as well as protect the planet from the rapacious destruction of corporate greed. We need to insist that people and the planet come before profits.

CO2 injections likely culprit in Texas earthquakes –study

Reuters, By: Reuters, 11/04/2013

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Carbon dioxide injected into oil and gas wells may have caused a series of minor earthquakes in Texas long before the adoption of current hydraulic fracking, according to a study published on Monday in a national science journal. The study, which analyzed 93 earthquakes that occurred between March 2009 and December 2010, appears to be the first to link earthquakes of magnitude 3 and above and carbon dioxide injections in the Cogdell oil field near Snyder, Texas.

Tremors in the area that occurred between 1975 and 1982 were previously linked to the injection of water into wells but the same explanation could not be applied to earthquakes that occurred in late 2000s, the paper's two authors said. "The timing of gas injection suggests it may have contributed to triggering the recent seismic activity," the study said. "If so, this represents an instance where gas injection has triggered earthquakes having magnitudes 3 and larger."

Throughout the ages, there have been many who have had gotten a taste of incredibly mesmerizing higher states of consciousness. Rather than keep their experiential knowledge and wisdom about the higher and deeper elements of existence to themselves they spread the word to others, be it through spoken word, written works, or other methods. Thanks to the sages, luminaries, spiritual teachers, thinkers, and every-day people who had an enlightening experience we can ignite the light of expanded awareness about the higher and deeper aspects of the human experience and of existence itself from such people. When the future looks bleak and the motivation to excel and advance seems pointless we can look up to those who have lived and are still alive who possess that inner wisdom which they had realized through their own personal experiences of an enlightened state of awareness.

DECLASSIFIED: US Army’s Top Secret Arctic City Under the Ice

It’s not every day the one has the opportunity to observe the construction of a secret underground base. This video is an actual declassified US Army film, documenting the nuclear-powered construction process of Camp Century, beneath the ice of central Greenland.

The base was constructed in the late 1950s, during the height of the Cold War, for "research" purposes.

To study the feasibility of working under the ice, a "cover" project, known as Camp Century was launched in 1960. However, unsteady ice conditions within the ice sheet caused the project to be canceled in 1966.

Bid to keep No10 files secret halts Iraq report: Cabinet Secretary blocks attempt to declassify 130 conversations between Blair, Bush and Brown

Timetable of obstacles and delays

A decade on, it is clear that the decision to invade was a defining moment, not merely for Mr Blair’s premiership, but for a generation’s attitude to politics. Quite apart from its other costs, it fundamentally altered the way many people thought about the political  process, and not for the better.

While some two million people marched against the war, many more were profoundly disturbed by the suspicion that our government had lied and dissembled in order to please the Americans.
