I noticed this post first on yahoo news. A minute later, it appeared on my fb page. Whatcha wanna bet this one goes totally viral. Only 19 hours old on yahoo, and it’s already generated 1103 comments.

Notice, the family will do it again next year. Why? I imagine because it just plain feels good to give.

Reuters) - A major earthquake hit a remote part of western Pakistan on Tuesday, killing at least 45 people and prompting a new island to rise from the sea just off the country's southern coast.

Tremors were felt as far away as the Indian capital of New Delhi, hundreds of miles (kilometers) to the east, where buildings shook, as well as the sprawling port city of Karachi in Pakistan

Being mature is to be well aware of a particular situation and deal with it in safety and faith, to not be shaken by the storms around you, because you know you are safe where you are and with who you are, WITH YOURSELF,with your HIGHER SELF.
 

Yellowstone rattled by three ‘unusual’ earthquake swarms

September 24, 2013 – JACKSON, Wyo.  — Until recently, Bob Smith had never witnessed two simultaneous earthquake swarms in his 53 years of monitoring seismic activity in and around the Yellowstone Caldera. Now, Smith, a University of Utah geophysics professor, has seen three swarms at once. “It’s very remarkable,” Smith said. “How does one swarm relate to another? Can one swarm trigger another and vice versa?” Because concurrent swarms have never been detected in the past, the answers aren’t in yet, Smith said. The geophysicist said he “wouldn’t doubt” if at least two of the events were related. Temblors from the three quake swarms mostly hit in three areas: Lewis Lake, the Lower Geyser Basin and the northwest part of Norris Geyser Basin. The largest earthquake shook the ground near Old Faithful Geyser on Sept. 15.

The federal regulator of credit unions is suing 13 banks for the alleged manipulation of an international standard used to set rates on mortgages, car loans, student loans and credit cards.

JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, Credit Suisse and 10 other international banks have been sued by a federal credit union regulator on charges they manipulated a financial benchmark used to set rates on trillions of dollars in loans.

Rainfall Redistribution Will Make Some Areas Warmer And Drier

A new study from Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory reveals that a northward shift of Earth’s wind and rain belts could make a broad swath of regions drier. The findings, published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, show that these drier regions include the Middle East, American West and Amazonia, while Monsoon Asia and equatorial Africa will become wetter as humans continue to heat the planet.

This new prediction is based on the warming that ended the last ice age around 15,000 years ago. During that warming, the North Atlantic Ocean began to churn more vigorously, melting Arctic sea ice, and setting up a temperature contrast with the southern hemisphere where sea ice was expanding around Antarctica. The tropical rain belt and mid-latitude jet stream were pushed north by the temperature gradient between the poles. This redistributed water in two bands around the planet.

What an incredibly powerful/reflective day the equinox was in my crazy world.  Holy cow batman!!  Most of the connections started well before the phone call was placed and blew my hair back thru every one!  But it would really take me thru this morning to realize just how profound every thing was on the 22nd (and forward.)  I will get to the contents of the some of the readings in a minute.

The close of Equinox day was going to show itself as the most bizarre day of my entire journey.  Hey, I live and love knee-deep in the “strange, weird and bizarre” (from an outsiders view anywayz) and would have it no other way, but sometimes, spirit really can take things over the top!!
