A seismic swarm has been occurring at the volcano during the past 24 hours, including a magnitude 3.0 earthquake yesterday. This could indicate a magmatic intrusion happening at depth, but so far, no unusual surface activity has been noted. On the other hand, Momotombo volcano is one of Nicaragua's most frequently active, with 10 recorded historic eruptions between 1524 and 1905, so new activity would not be a big surprise.

Wes Annac~ A Desire to Communicate

Lia's picture

I feel a strong desire on this morning to communicate; to write; to express how I’m feeling to you dear readers. I don’t have a subject to write about, though I recognize that I could pretty much dive-in to any subject and perhaps write a book about it.

Such is the nature of the excited, awakening human brain and body.

Once we begin to awaken to the reality of the higher dimensions, the realms we once called Home and will be doing so again very shortly; we tap into an unprecedented inspiration to get-out what we’re feeling and experiencing. Upon feeling some of the most wonderful and blatant effects of our ascension into higher dimensions, we seek to spread those feelings to every person around us.

The entities speaking to us from the higher realms have long discussed the fact that serving others seems to become one’s primary mode of existing upon entering a certain pure state of consciousness.

Fire and Water Wild Fires and Flooding

GemConscious's picture

It seems Mother Nature is reeking havoc across the USA right now.  The most destructive fires in Colorado’s state history have been causing enormous damage.   While this is happening in Colorado out west in New York extreme flooding is happening in Herkimer New York.

Fires

By Gillian Spear, NBC NewsThe deadly wildfire that continues to ravage Colorado Springs has destroyed 473 homes and damaged 17 – making it the most destructive fire in Colorado's history. The fire is reminiscent of the Waldo Canyon Fire, which took place only one year ago and destroyed 346 homes.

More than 34,000 homes have been evacuated and the blaze has burned 15,500 acres . The cause of the Black Forest Fire, which broke out on Tuesday and has killed two people, has yet to be determined.

33 Million People Unite For Change

Protesters in Tahrir Square

New arrivals at Cairo airport are greeted with advertising billboards bearing the rhetoric of a concluded revolution: grainy images of people power overwritten with congratulatory quotes from foreign leaders, sealed with the logos of mobile phone networks and commercial banks. Yet to the dismay of politicians and corporate executives, it seems that Egypt's grassroots revolt refuses to remain in its neatly packaged box. Millions are once again on the streets of the Arab world's most populous country. Walking among them on Sunday – for hours and hours, down road after road, all of them filled with human energy – it was easy to forget that there had ever been talk of protest fatigue.

Amid the cacophony, commentators have struggled to draw the battle lines in a political landscape that stubbornly resists simple explication. To understand what's happening in Egypt, it's important to distinguish between at least two separate struggles that are playing out, the outcomes of which will shape Egypt's ongoing revolution for some time to come.

KP's Blog and Mission Journey~Message for today…

Lia's picture

Finally got this message. And, yes, for all of those who might think I’m only organic or totally non-supportive of any large corporate enterprises, I am at a McDonalds. For a coffee, a pomegranate blueberry smoothie, and… the Internet.

After “performing” at Arches National Park (a mission ceremony, that is), at Moab (in temps ranging from 99-105 F (thank God for not being ‘C’), I drove out and found my resting place (rest area/CO welcome center at Fruitas CO). Very comfortable, actually… slept well.

Problem was, this place was HAH (Hard as Heck) to find, and the ego was PO’d. “I go on these missions and stay up all day in 100-105 F and feel like “you know what” sometimes and dammit can’t you make it simple to find these rest stops places and I just want to sleep dammit!!!!!!!”

The Masters of Light

Masters, what do you see for this old world this coming month as storm systems just seem to keep coming?

“First of all, the world is not coming to an end! The doom-sayers will be busy with alarming predictions as storms continue to rage across continents and oceans for at least another year. Your planet is undergoing changes precipitated by the emergence of higher frequencies in the universe that will also be observed even by the Mars explorations on that planet.

Sporadic movements of the earth’s crust will continue to cause quakes and tsunamis to many parts of the world. Rising temperatures and unexpected cold fronts will arrive almost without normal expectations and confront humanity with the necessity of caring for each other when power or food supplies are interfered with.

July will bring some unexpected changes in weather conditions from the Arctic down through South America as a small shift in the position of the planet within the solar system will be experienced as a climate change, but will not be permanent as the shift will correct itself within a few months

When Drones Guard the Pipeline – Militarizing Fossil Fuels in the East

Winona LaDuke with Frank Molley

Someone needs to explain to me why wanting clean drinking water makes you an activist, and why proposing to destroy water with chemical warfare doesn’t make a corporation a terrorist.

I’m in South Dakota today, sort of a ground zero for the XL Keystone Pipeline, that pipeline, owned by a Canadian Corporation which will export tar sands oil to the rest of the world. This is the heart of the North American continent here. Bwaan Akiing is what we call this land-Land of the Lakota. There are no pipelines across it, and beneath it is the Oglalla Aquifer wherein lies the vast majority of the water for this region. The Lakota understand that water is life, and that there is no new water. It turns out, tar sands carrying pipelines (otherwise called “dilbit”) are sixteen times more likely to break than a conventional pipeline, and it seems that some ranchers and Native people, in a new Cowboy and Indian Alliance, are intent upon protecting that water.

Antares and M4 image by stargazerbob@aol.com

On summer evenings, you can spot red Antares, the ruby Heart of Scorpius the Scorpion. It is the 16th brightest star and one of the most gigantic stars known.

Bright reddish Antares – also known as Alpha Scorpii – is easy to spot on a summer night. It is the brightest star – and distinctly reddish in color – in the fishhook-shaped pattern of stars known as the constellation Scorpius the Scorpion.
