On the 40th anniversary of the famous ‘Blue Marble’ photograph taken of Earth from space, Planetary Collective presents a short film documenting astronauts’ life-changing stories of seeing the Earth from the outside – a perspective-altering experience often described as the Overview Effect.
The Overview Effect, first described by author Frank White in 1987, is an experience that transforms astronauts’ perspective of the planet and mankind’s place upon it. Common features of the experience are a feeling of awe for the planet, a profound understanding of the interconnection of all life, and a renewed sense of responsibility for taking care of the environment.
‘Overview’ is a short film that explores this phenomenon through interviews with five astronauts who have experienced the Overview Effect. The film also features insights from commentators and thinkers on the wider implications and importance of this understanding for society, and our relationship to the environment.
This post felt like a nice little birthday gift yesterday from my friend, Tim Glenn. Revolution Number Nine
Here in May of 2013, we have reached the third of seven exact squares of Uranus to Pluto, as the planets of evolution and revolution square off in their series of worldchanging influences. The conjunction of these planets in the Sixties kicked off a social revolution that demanded conscious evolution. And whatever is conceived at the conjunction is called into action and put to the test at the square.
Peace unto you. When you feel My love, what can you have but peace in your heart? Be at peace. Allow yourself peace.
There is no need for you to surround yourself with upset or anything like that. Why have turmoil in your heart, anxiety, aggravation, distress, hurt, sense of abandonment and all the other shards you have embraced in your heart? Your heart is meant to be an oasis of peace and love, love and peace. I offer all good to you. Will you accept? Will you forget about trouble and let go of troublesome thoughts?
What We are really talking about here is letting go of the past and living life as it comes, not planning it nor exorcising it. Just living where the living is easy. Ho, ho, how easy it is to live in the present where you immerse yourself in Eternity and delight in Infinity.
I have decided, I take to many things for granted! Namely, my ability to connect to spirit or the clarity of a landscape to allow such communication with ease. Of course, I didn’t realize any of this until yesterday when I tried to do my readings for the day. I have not heard or connected to a thing since landing in Bristol, Virginia on Wednesday evening. I assumed I was just road weary and that fact that my limbs were swollen like sausages, that I just needed time to recoup my energy and deflate.
Here we go again. Get ready for another shifting. An interesting way to begin our holiday weekend. I hope everyone enjoys their time off with family and friends. I will not be posting today but will return again after the weekend. Blessings to all….VK
Alright. The first thing that I am going to do is suggest that you wear your aura as a very large vortex. You could essentially match the solar winds and the solar energies and the storm patterns and what not by wearing a similar pattern in the auric field. It is a way of synchronizing with nature and Creation, all of Creation really. So make the aura a very large vortex.
Now this week we have the Full Moon of Humanity combined with the Vesak Eastern Buddhist Birthday celebration, which to me is not the same date as the esoteric Wesak, which is the Great White Brotherhood teachings. That was the last Full Moon.
However we do have with the Full Moon a very powerful eclipse and it is the third eclipse in a one month period. So on this one I am going to say it is “leap and the net will appear”.
And as a lightworker, your best choice of that particular eclipse would be to pick one positive change you’re ready to make in your life and declare it boldly during that eclipse.
There is so much division around the world because of Religion and what people have been lead to believe that Love has been lost. Jesus was trying to bring all people together as were many other enlightened beings through the fabric of time but some how their teachings got lost in translation. It is now I know why they gave me the title for this blog in a channel all those months ago. Back then I did not really understand the meaning of these words now I do.
Through my writings my Heart must be allowed to fully open to reveal what lies inside, I must show that Love survives through all things. Love is and will always be no matter where you were Born, Raised, Taught. No matter your Culture, Race, Language. Love is what links us all for it is a part of us. It is the Heart that beats the Rhythm of the Soul, the spark that creates life our God Source.
As we prepare for the third and final eclipse of this spring season, May 25, 2013, 12:25 A.M. EDT, we watch for earthquakes and other geophysical events in concert with the recent (May 20th) exact Uranus/Pluto square (seven exact squares altogether between 2012 and 2015). Well, we got one, here in the U.S. One big one. So far. In northern California.

The NOW is always the moment in which you create your future. However, you never work alone– regardless of how tenaciously you have held onto that belief. You are an energy being, and energy is the medium you use to create your ever-changing perception of “reality.” You are also supported by energy 100% in manifesting exactly the reflections of “reality” that match the frequencies that you pulse out.
However, there are “ebbs and flows” to energy, as you know by experiencing your own. The particular kind of energy that our current full moon/lunar eclipse is offering us is unlike any we have ever known–because, whether we recognize it or not, our own states of being are NOW unlike any we have ever known. It is the last of a series of three eclipses, all experienced consecutively, and so that alone tells you that it is rare. They have supported us in “opening the cans of worms” that we have been hiding within the corners of our psyches, and so carrying around with us for millenium.
Why? Because we were “too ashamed” to face them. Or, because they were “too painful,” and we felt “too powerless” to deal with them. But underlying all of that–the sneaky bottom line–is that tbose of us who avoided the “cans of worms” and hid them did so because we thouught we could get away with it. Ouch, right? That’s a tough one to face.
As the energy ramps up for the next Full Moon ( Friday, May 24 at 9:24 PM PDT), there is a powerful spiritual focus that must not be ignored. This full moon is called Wesak or the Buddha moon and is noted as the most powerful full moon of the year. The fact that there is also a lunar eclipse – the third in a very rare series – only adds to the enhanced energy you are experiencing. It is said that eclipses offer opportunities for course corrections, and can enable you to see what changes you may need to make in the direction you are heading. Know you are in the midst of a profound spiritual transformation, so the spiritual realm in your life is the arena where you need to look for any course correction that is necessary. Remember that you are still in the Wormhole of Radical Transformation until the June 21 Solstice, so now is the time to work on what can be done to enhance your soul path.
