Comet Ison is still on its way out with a possible debris trail awaiting our planetary orbit in January and now  "The Red Planet", aka Hercolubus, has come to my awareness.  I had heard of the Red Planet before, but I never did any research on it.  You might say I'm a bit worn out by all the doom and gloom I've studied over the decades. :  But this one seems interesting because I discovered it quite by "accident".
