Love is patient, love is kind. Love is gentle and simple by its very nature. Whenever something appears as complicated, know that it is not of your Heart.
Recently, when searching for a way to reach someone close to me who needs help, I came across Louise Hay’s teachings again. I have known about darling Louise for many, many years. All maladies, discomforts, dis-ease, you name it, stem from one source – Lack of Self Love. From this source springs the countless beliefs we have stored away in our sub-conscious minds. One that springs to mind immediately is this one – I am not good enough.
So from this perspective take a look at yourself. This is the Age of Transparency after all and there is no thing…..nothing you can hide from anymore! Least of all from your Self! There is NO WHERE to hide! So peel off those layers you have been covering yourself with. Look in that mirror. Place your palms on your heart and tell yourself out loud (and insert your name in the blank space please) – “I love you _______________.” Say this to yourself for 10 minutes a day, every day for one month, and then notice the difference. Perseverance pays…
Very often when faced with dis-ease – illness in any form – our bodies give us a pretty good indication as to what is going on inside of us. Remember Love is simple. It doesn’t need fancy names. For instance a friend of mine told me yesterday that she can no longer drive because of her eyesight. She is 53. This same friend of mine has been battling with her weight ever since I’ve known her. She is forever on a diet. Her weight bounces up and down like a yo-yo. Often you will see her wearing huge capes that she drapes over herself, covering her body. Over-weight people often love the cooler months where they can cover themselves up. I know, I used to be one of them.
What is it that you are not willing to look at? What is it that you are hiding from?
If you ask your body for guidance, it will tell you.
The best thing is that you have nothing to be afraid of. You have nothing to fear. It is not necessary to know exactly what it is that is causing the illness, disease, discomfort etc., just be willing to love and accept yourself and hold the intention that love will take care of the rest of it for you. Remember you are entirely loved and supported. There is nothing love wouldn’t do for you!
The other best thing is that Love will find a way, no matter what. You can choose not to love yourself and go to the doctor and get meds and have that operation etc., and do everything that is conventionally done in order to make it go away. But, chances are that it will come back in some other way, shape or form.
Love will continue to find a way for you to love and accept yourself.
Lack of self-love is the cause of every dis-ease in your life – whether that dis-ease stems from illness in your physical body, to financial stress, to relationship stress. Whatever. It is all from the same source.
If I told you “YOU ARE PERFECT”, would you believe me? Would that knowing help you to love and accept yourself unconditionally?
Something that is being brought to my attention lately is holograms! Yes I know, it’s the stuff of science fiction movies. But did you know that your life here can be viewed as a hologram? Or if you prefer, use the word ‘movie’. Do you think that a beautiful actress that plays the role of an overweight drug taking prostitute with crooked teeth forgets who she really is while she is playing her role? (Think Charlene Theron in the movie “Monster”). No she doesn’t. She knows she is beautiful and that the role she is playing is only a part in a movie. IT’S NOT REAL.
Neither is your life here. It appears to be real because it feels real. But it’s a hologram nonetheless. One day you will get to look at your hologram and even look at what would have happened had you made different choices. This hologram of your Earthly life is unlike all the other holograms you will come to play once you transcend the density of the realm of duality, because in this hologram, you chose to forget who you were. The deal you made with yourself was that this hologram would be played out behind a veil of forgetfulness. You took this risk because you knew love would find a way to bring you back HOME to yourself! And you knew LOVE NEVER FAILS!
Home is IN your Heart Beloved. Home is where self-love lives and where unconditional love lives.
Because you’re reading this, TODAY could be the perfect day for you to find your way back home again.
So all those things you don’t approve of about yourself, or are having a problem looking at about yourself – LET THEM GO! Ask Love to help you with this.
Close your eyes for a minute and imagine yourself being led into a blissful pool of sparkling emerald green water. Allow yourself to lie in this pool for as long as you like and whilst you’re there, floating on your back, imagine all of your so-called imperfections floating away and dissolving into the nothing-ness.
Here is a mantra for you:
IN THE INFINITY OF LIFE WHERE I AM, All IS WELL.
I AM PERFECT, WHOLE AND COMPLETE.
AND SO IT IS.
