Secret Plan Nuke Moon

A story that surfaced over a decade ago is making the rounds again this week, as some media outlets are reporting that the U.S. considered detonating an atomic bomb on the moon in an effort to intimidate the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War.

On Sunday, the Daily Mail revived the story, citing a 12-year-old interview with physicist Leonard Reiffel, formerly of the U.S. military-backed Armour Research Foundation and later a deputy director of NASA. Celebrated astronomer Carl Sagan also was said to have been involved with the secret project, which reportedly was known as "A Study of Lunar Research Flights" or "Project A119." Sagan died in 1996.

Our Leaders (?)

StarDancerKat's picture

While working on raising my vibration and consciousness, I am finding reports like this more and more annoying. How could our leaders be so STUPID to even consider something like this? I am upset, a little, that we paid them to have such meetings and projects to work on. I guess it just illustrates just how important our mission is.

Now I still cannot remember my "mission." Well officially anyway. I am shifting to a more heart based reality. A few months ago I reported on the Facebook page that every high school in Tennessee has been given a gun safe, an automatic scary gun and hollow point bullets from the Department of Homeland Security. These guns were found buried in the desert in Turkey that were placed there over 10 years ago. So the work from my police officer was that the Obama Administration wanted them destroyed but DHS trumpeted them stating the guns are clearly marked as "Property of USA DHS." I have seed it on the gun we have at our high school. When this came to my attention from this police officer  showed me the guns in the safe and handed me 1 of the bullets and told me the difference between that bullet and others. I have no "gun wisdom," but while I was holding this bullet I almost passed out and threw up on him at the same time. I got a grip and while he was talking to me I said a silent pray of," Please make it so we do not need to use weapons like this on each other. " I also thanked the bullet for its mission but told it that "we are grateful for you but we are asking that you and your brothers stand down for we do not need to use you at this time."

My police officer friend is a Baptist Christian and we just talk about all kinds of stuff, I am pagan. Recently My friend commented that "all the other teachers at school got one of your crystals you mined this past summer in Arkansas and I did not get one." I was taken back because I did not think he would want a crystal. I gave him 2 yesterday a big one and a pendant I made. Before I left for home he emailed me letting me know that he placed the big crystal in the gun safe, and as he did, he asked that my prayer be heard and honored. I was floored. Having an NRA friend ask that my prayer to disarm the violence in our worldto be heard, was just a real big moment to me yesterday. So maybe this is a new attitude that all law enforcement can/will adopt. I just thought this experience was important enough to let ya'll know. Most important follow your heart and let your light shine because you never know its affectiveness until you sparkle and shine your intentions our in the world.
