New Moons bring new beginnings. New Moons are also the most spiritual and intuitive moons of the whole Lunar cycle. Each New Moon brings with it a down load of evolutionary energies to give us the knowledge to create a beautiful future. These electromagnetic wavelengths activate our Pineal Gland or 3rd eye, which is sensitive to frequencies beyond our five senses. The Pineal Gland/3rd eye, is kind of like a spiritual antenna. Remember that the New Moon energy last a day and half plus on each side of the peak. It is a wonderful time to manifest, meditate and create!
With the Virgo energy of this New Moon it is time to purify and cleans our environment…..including our homes, our body’s, our minds, our behaviors, our work places, and emotions (the moon) etc. De-cluttering in all these areas will help the energy flow through you and around you. It will give you the ability to receive more knowledge, and to be able to function at optimal levels. Being of service with this knowledge is part of these energies also. How can you “serve” (Virgo) your community/humanity with all the information you have gathered and are still gathering? How can you “serve” and mentor in the healing arts? What is your part of “service” in this powerful time in history? Mediate on how to grow in this “service”. How to open up…. to new, or advanced areas…. where your “service” may now take you.
It is a perfect time to check in with yourself to see how far you’ve come in your journey of self-knowledge and self-actualization. What is worn out, or become old in your lives? What routines & thought processes are no longer working? It is time to eliminate all that is “old.” It is time to distance from people, places, and things, that are no longer vibrating where you are now vibrating……. open your Heart…. so you can do it in the most compassionate way possible.
This Virgo New Moon is very intense! Even though Virgo itself is not usually considered intense or full of tension….but this Virgo New Moon has that. Along with the New Moon, we have Saturn (limitation, structures, government, corporate, discipline, integrity, respect, wisdom's of the Elders), in a conjunction (sitting with, blending with) Mars (warrior energy, desire, anger, personal drive, assertiveness, crusader) and as if this isn’t enough, they are both sitting in Scorpio (deepest emotions clear down in the Soul, shadow, passions, intensity, Earth Spirituality, magic, sex, death, Power) So what does that mean? Let’s look at:
MARS IN SCORPIO…..an almost relentless drive to survive! Driven at times by a deep psychological motive….which on the grey side could lead to sneakiness, spying, jealousy, stalking, almost penetrating urges to find the goal…..regardless of what needs to be done to achieve it. On the high side….the Spiritual pioneer….driven by the crusade to find just cause…..
SATURN IN SCORPIO….There would be a full-scale deep inquiry into any problems with any structures. A big investigation into all corners and levels having to do with the structures and/or institutions involved. Investigating beyond the physical, and into the Spiritual/metaphysical realms. Also a relentless need to apply strong discipline in any situation. On the high side, it could bring about a more grounded intuitive response to situations, and the ability to see from all angles including the intuitive, also to learn… from the wisdom’s of the Elders,
MARS AND SATURN CONJUNCT IN SCORPIO….This could be a very volatile set up that will last through the next few weeks. It also could be a very productive set up…..depending on how you (and the rulers) handle the energy. This could be a time of attacks, protests, anger, wars, brutality, rape…and fighting issues, within your own life and relationships, within the governments, and of course within the world itself. But it could also be a time of breakthroughs, pioneers with the courage to create the new…..people taking charge for the rights of all. We have been seeing these energies building daily in the news….the escalation in the middle East and elsewhere in the world. In Ferguson, Mo, and also in the untimely passing of Robin Williams…..who’s greatest gift to us all…..may have been the realization it brought for many……that depression, and mental illness (Saturn and Scorpio) can happen to anyone…and the structures and laws around these issues that have made it almost impossible for those that need help to get help…..need to desperately and immediately be changed… now!!
We also have seen these energies affecting the Earth itself, with many Earthquakes….like the one in Napa Valley….. many Volcanoes, crazy weather and more. The Earth is receiving these energies also….and it is purging!
You also need to remember that all of this is happening on the back drop of the ongoing very intense, Birthing of New, Change and Urgency…. Cardinal Square between Pluto (rules Scorpio) and Uranus! This helps explain some of the chaos, intensity, and the many changes happening fast…..that many people are experiencing now. Remember change is good, even though it can be scary as we are going through it.
So pull on this very grounding, feminine Earthy Virgo New Moon to create and manifest…. that the above energies create good changes for ourselves and the world. Some of them may not be easy….but it is time in which we have to learn to look at the big picture……it may be exactly what needs to happen now……so that we can live in a peaceful, respectful, compassionate, loving World! Things have to be torn down and changed for us to live the way we are entitled to live. Lets manifest this……let’s take all this powerful energy and create a beautiful future. I can see it…..can you? There in the “big” picture…down the road?
During this Virgo New Moon, it is a perfect time to get your priorities in order, to bring practical matters to the forefront. Concentrate on new ways to get your day to day life organized. Don’t let the distractions of daily life get in your way. It is a time to commit to positive personal goals, getting into a healthy routine of taking care of your body, and getting down to some serious work. It is definitely time to create a plan, and then to take action on it.
Watch out for the ‘gray’ side of Virgo where you have a tendency to think that you don’t know enough yet and you must learn more before you can share your knowledge. Also avoid the tendency of thinking that it isn’t perfect enough yet to bring it out in the open. Whatever you are creating……will never be perfect, soooo it is time to bring it out now and share it! You may actually find that you know way more than those around you! With the perfectionism of Virgo….you must at times….look at the big picture and realize that….the imperfections you think you see, may actually be a creative and practical response, to the hand you have been dealt….the lessons you are here to learn, the things that we need to overcome….for the big picture.
It is a perfect time for the grounding energies of Virgo and a return to the Earth energy. The Earth energy of Virgo…..the harvest of our grains, our food and our connection with the beauty of the Earth. It is a time to Harvest our ideas and our talents. Virgo helps us to bring the higher energies in and ground them with the Earth.
This Virgo New Moon is ruled by Mercury the messenger. Mercury is knowledge both gathering it and sharing it. Talking and communicating it. Before you can truly communicate with anyone….you have to Listen!! At this Virgo New Moon, you are also being asked to listen to your own inner guidance….your intuitive self!
Virgo is about communicating (Mercury) with nature (Virgo) as nature communicates with us. We are one with the Earth….we are one with nature. Because of Virgo we can communicate with all of matter and all of nature! Take our shoes off….feel the Earth and her energies….. sit with the Earth during this powerful time and LISTEN!
Manifest during this New Moon…..new ideas and goals, and then let the Universe know that you are serious. What areas can you be of service in for yourself, and for the community? What is it that is so important to you, that you are ready to speak about it….to walk your talk? During this Virgo New Moon, listen to your intuition, connect with the Earth. It is time to manifest your desires, and to create a beautiful world. It is time to come from your heart in all areas. Stay in your Heart; think with your heart….this is so important during this time.
During the time I was writing this Virgo New Moon report….I was sitting out on my beautiful deck surrounded by flowers and enjoying how my trees hid the city, and letting the energies of my own little forest embody me….and suddenly I was visited by 2 large yellow butterfly’s flying around me as if I wasn’t there, and as I looked over at one of my flower pots on the railing….there was a Hummingbird….going from flower pot to flower pot. I thought about the Virgo New Moon and how beautiful the Earth and her inhabitants really are. I soaked in the beauty…..the oneness with nature…..the inspiration….and then continued to write…..in total gratitude for the gifts of the Earth, the 2 yellow Butterflies and the Hummingbird!
Take time to just be. Let the Earth energy surround you. Take time to walk with and enjoy the Earth…… and above all… LISTEN……take care of the Earth and HONOR her…….. MEDITATE……take time to be quiet and LISTEN………MANIFEST……..your own reality….bring BALANCE into all areas…..and manifest PEACE in the world
