Full Moons are a time of releasing. It is a time of releasing the old that is no longer working. Go deep into yourself, your foundations and old perceptions and observe what is no longer working for you. What is no longer vibrating where you are
vibrating? It is a time of purging and releasing in all areas of your life.
The Full Moon happens when the Sun and Moon are opposing each other. With this Cancer Full Moon we have a Capricorn Sun. The goal of an opposition is to bring into balance the 2 sides. So this Cancer Full Moon is about balancing emotion (Cancer) and detachment (Capricorn), Feminine energy (Cancer) and Male energy (Capricorn), intuition (Cancer) and practicality (Capricorn), home life (Cancer) and achievement/CEO (Capricorn), subconscious and things hidden (Cancer) and bringing things out in the open and into your consciousness (Capricorn), being involved with your family/tribe (Cancer), and being directed by your jobs in the outside world (Capricorn) etc. Meditate on the balancing….come up with some of your own ideas of what needs balanced in these areas of your life. The universe is speaking loudly! We need to bring ourselves and the world into balance to set the stage for the shift into the “new”, and also for our own evolution.
With this Full Moon in Cancer (water, the mother, family, that which births, intuition, nurturer), we are being asked to Feel….to feel the feelings between each other, our families, our tribes, humanity, and the Earth. Cancer traditionally is the Mother, and Capricorn is traditionally the Father energy….the nurturer and the non-nurturer…..we are being asked to bring these into balance within families….. We are being asked to notice if all interactions with family and friends, and within work areas and with the Earth… are being done with integrity and respect. We are being asked to Let Go of those things and people that are no longer vibrating where we are vibrating…..while we make room for new relationships and new support systems, as we move forward into the “new”, and co-create a new way to be in relationships while we co-create our own reality.
With this Full Moon in Cancer we are also being asked to remember the importance of honoring our mothers and the honoring of Mother Earth herself! This is a very Emotional Full Moon and an Emotional time. It is shinning a light on areas where we need to find our power….areas where we need to establish healthy boundaries while operating in integrity and with respect. This Cancer Full Moon also is illuminating where we need to soften our “shells” and be willing to show emotion and nurturing where others are concerned….open your inner and outer homes to others, to your tribe, to community, to humanity…..so the nurturing and healing energies of Cancer can help the world and us come into balance.
We also have Venus sitting with the Capricorn Sun in this Cancer Full Moon. With Venus representing the feminine, love, creativity…..sitting with Capricorn, the father figure, the CEO, etc. we have an overriding energy of Love…..during this Full Moon. The Feeling of Love in many ways….with the family…friends….and lovers. Take time to realize the things, people and places that you truly Love and be grateful ! Realize also the places, things and people, that are not where you are at….. and release them during this Full Cancer Moon, in the kindest way possible.
With Venus and Mars in a square (friction, stress, an opportunity to make a shift) during this Full Moon…. The Universe is speaking very loudly about the balancing of the feminine and male energies. We talked about this above with the Cancer Moon and Capricorn Sun. If we are going to survive….we need to bring the male energies and the feminine energies including the Earth energies…..into balance. One is not better than the other….they/we are all ONE……and the feminine and the male energies, the yin and yang, the right brain and the left brain, the light and dark, etc… must come into balance. Relationship changes, will be the way in which we will stand in our truth about equal give and take, self respect, and your personal integrity. With this Cancer Full Moon and Venus (feminine energy) squaring Mars (masculine energy) the Universe seems to be highlighting the Urgency of transforming our relationships, of all kinds….into equal give and take relationships, into the feminine, and into Balance. Balance between the Sacred Masculine and the Sacred Feminine. The Universe is speaking loudly……..Listen!
With this Full Moon we also have a connection to the Cardinal Grand Cross. This Cardinal Grand Cross (which will last through May) is about change, birthing of new, urgency and transformation. The planets involved in the Cardinal Grand Cross are: Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Aries, Jupiter in Cancer and Mars in Libra:
Pluto in this Cardinal Grand Cross, Pluto is about transformation….transformation of your Soul and the Soul of the Earth…it doesn’t care what kind of car you drive or where you live, or how much money you have….it only cares about your Soul. It is emphasizing…...no lies, no secrets, no out of bounds ego, no judgment, no manipulation or control. Pluto cares about integrity and respect of all….we are all one!
During this Cancer Full Moon, Pluto is letting us know that transformation can happen through our emotions and family (the Moon) and that you need to stay within integrity and respect when communicating. Things will be brought up, during this time, about relationships…all relationships including family ones. Meditate during this powerful Full Moon on relationships especially family, and your emotional entanglements. Ask for guidance on what needs to be let go of, and how to do it in the most compassionate way as we shift into higher energies. Transforming from where you were, to where you are becoming.
Manifest and Meditate…and above all Listen….
Uranus is the planet of constant change, humanity/community, thinking out side of the box, being able to see the big picture, and the rebel. It can bring about revolutionary change. Uranus is in Aries (the warrior, the pioneer, the crusader, the “Me” energy, passion, courage). Uranus is about Humanity, community, your tribe, the genius. Uranus is also the God ruler of Aries. Why would the Universe put the God Ruler of Aries in Aries at this time and in such a powerful Cardinal Grand Cross? It is asking us to gently move from the “Me” to the “We” energy. We are all one….no one is better than anyone else…we are all one. We need the warrior, but we need the spiritual warrior for all humanity…..the spiritual pioneer, crusader for all humanity, for your community, for your tribe. This is the “New”….part of the “New World” that we are co-creating.
Jupiter is the planet of higher learning in religions and philosophies, questing for knowledge, master teachers, published authors, travel, fun, optimism, JOY. JOY being the ultimate goal of this shift……living in Joy! Jupiter in this Cardinal Grand Cross wants us to listen to and study the Wisdom of the Elders from our families, the community, the world, the Ancient Star Systems and the Galaxies....and then to share that knowledge through teaching, writing, sharing with everyone……so that we can easily obtain the ultimate goal of optimism and JOY!
Jupiter is also sitting on the ancient start of Sirius. Sirius is the brightest star in the sky. Sirius was very important to ancient Egypt and many cultures around the world and was associated with Hathor and Isis. Mystic Alice Bailey has called Sirius “the great star of initiation, and “the source of wisdom.” Esoterically, Sirius is considered our Spiritual sun, helping to direct the awakening of humanity.
Mars is also part of this Cardinal Grand Cross and will be the focal point of this through May. Mars is the warrior energy, the crusader, the pioneer, courage and passion. When you bring in the Warrior energy and put it in strong aspect to Pluto (transformation) and Uranus (constant change) in a Cardinal Grand Cross, the energy can be present for anger, arguments, war, fights, aggression, accidents, accidents with metal, violence etc.. Mars adds a volatile energy to this Cardinal Grand Cross. We need to be aware of this….watch where you walk, where you drive and how others are driving. It is not a good time to have surgeries if you can wait, schedule it when Mars isn’t in as close aspect to this Cardinal Grand Cross. What you say and how you say it. Treat others with respect. Etc. etc. Channel this very intense energy by exercising, starting a new project, focusing your passion in an area that serves your highest Soul work, keeping yourself busy and walking away from confrontations. Mars is in Libra which is ruled by Venus the planet of love and creativity. Libra is about balance…and the law. With the Universe placing Mars (male) in Libra (female) at this time, shows that the Universe is speaking loudly about Balance! Balance between the Sacred Masculine and Sacred Feminine energy, about balance in all relationships…..and the Universe is speaking Loudly!!!!
These energies of this Grand Cross with the Full Moon are revolutionary energies working through change and transformation. The breaking down of old structures that are not working anymore, in the world and within yourselves…..and as they are breaking down, being able to see through the chaos and emotional ties …. the beautiful big picture that the Universe is presenting to us! Out of the ashes rises the Phoenix. These are the energies of this Cardinal Grand Cross.
Also with this Cardinal Grand Cross, the energies that are being emphasized can be felt within your family, and those that you consider part of your family, along with nurturing, health and healing. Within the Family or clan, watch for things that are out of balance, things and situations that are not resonating together. It is time to purge. Move away from what is not vibrating where you are. What needs to be adjusted? What needs to change?
With this Cardinal Grand Cross involved with this Cancer Full Moon...we are being asked to become aware of our power, as we create and manifest with every thought we have. Direct that power from the Heart as you mediate and manifest on this Cancer Full Moon. Meditate on how things are transforming and changing in the “Real World” to the “New World” that you are co-creating, and how we are now moving into areas that we have never been in before…remember to focus on the Heart and create from the Heart!
