we throw it away. Instead of coming home to the deeper truth of our existence we act as if there were no higher truth.
This unconscious drama has us going away from, rather than toward, everything. It force feeds us a reduced version of miracle and wonder.
We began to return from exile in the 1960s when a mass awakening occurred -- a Revolution in Consciousness that made us realize life was so much more than we'd been taught.
In the Summer of 1966 the outer planet Uranus (Revolution) came together with Pluto (Hell) in the Sign of the Virgin, making Virgo the key influence of the 60s. Virgo's task is to release everything in the way of truth, and the key achievement of the 1960s was that we cleared away the cultural hell and opened the door to so much more.
Between June, 2012 and March, 2015, Uranus and Pluto form a 90-degree angle to each other seven times. These seven squares provide the next stage of the Return, 7 Stepping Stones to the bright future that is trying so strongly to come all the way in. Each square contributes its own theme toward this return:

Since last September we've been bombarded by the Death of the Old, and this kind of death happens in waves of surging intensity and release, agony and ecstasy, clinging and surrender. The places where you are hooked into old relationships, ideas and thought forms are being pierced by Pluto's pitchfork and root-tilled in the deep karmic soil of the soul. Which means the key theme of the last eight months is the need to release everything untrue from your life. Many people have been leaving families, jobs, marriages and relationships. On May 20 we begin the six-month Step of Loving Yourself, which is a key theme in our Return from Exile. Loving yourself does not mean that everything you do is great. It does not mean you get to lord it over others. It does not exempt you from having to continue learning your lessons on planet earth.
Rather it means that instead of turning away from your full presence and participation in the great change of our time you show up even more. It means that whatever part of your soul got twisted in the karmic battlefields of the ages, untwists. It means that you open inwardly to receive the exquisite birthright you signed up for when you chose to come back again into the body.
After you died in your last life and before you were born into this one you chose to return from the oneness of spirit into the madness of matter. You chose to be here at this crossroad of the ages. You did this for one main reason and a lot of little ones: To be the love that you are.
Everything that happens between birth and death is an invitation to awaken and come home. Yes, I know you're not perfect. I know you lug around a bucket of self-judgment. I know life gets you down.
But despite, or perhaps because, of the great flaws and blunders of our time, each day offers you a chance to drink at the fountain of innocence and renew your flagging spirits with the great good news of existence. Every step you take toward this Return here at the crossroads of the ages will help put our world back on track.
