For those who believe astrology is frou-frou… it is just one more aspect that has been hidden from us. The mystical was made out to be something illogical, insignificant and not to be taken seriously—even rediculed—when nothing could be further from reality.
The dark benefitted from stomping out our right-brain creative and intuitive side in favour of the logical left-brain tendencies they groomed in Humanity. It’s time to turn back the cosmic clock and embrace all aspects of who we really are.
We came from the stars, Earth is part of the heavens, and astrology and cosmic energetics have EVERYTHING to do with what is unfolding on our planet and what we can expect in the near future.

Lately I’ve had several urges to get some new pastels and pick up where I left off many, many years ago when I used to indulge my artistic pursuits in different ways than my current writing and beading.

Mercury
Most of February is encompassed by Mercury Retrograde, throwing electronics and communication into a tizzy. Added to the mix is the Full Moon in Leo this Friday on Valentine’s Day…The Full Leo Moon is sextile Mars, creating a passionate day involving our artistic pursuits, and feeling driven to project them into the world. The Leo Moon is also opposite Mercury Retrograde, which creates an internal battle between the logical mind and gut instinct.
Jupiter square Uranus is the big cosmic news this month, making a loose T- square to the generation-changing Uranus Pluto Square. This will influence people to seek freedom from restriction. Although the upcoming Jupiter square Uranus is exact on Feb 26th, its influence will be in effect from February 16 – May 3.
Jupiter square Uranus has a rebellious and forceful energy that can bring great success to those involved with spiritual or social reformation. It is an excellent alignment for global intentions, especially associated with spirituality. Jupiter square Uranus inspires innovate ideas, visions and new paradigms…which may even be rejected at first, always ahead of its time, but will eventually be integrated by the whole.
Venus
We have another rare and intriguing aspect right now…all 3 personal planets are retrograde or coming out of longer than usual retrograde cycles. Mercury, Venus and Mars are in the slowest part of their respective cycles and acting more like collective planets for the next month. During this rare phase we may lose sense of our personal story and feel more aligned with the planetary consciousness.
It may feel like our focus on personal tasks is being replaced with an expanded awareness of the global condition, pulling us to do more for the greater good. All positive thoughts, feelings and actions will be amplified through a planetary portal uniting the personal with the global. This rare opportunity to create a difference in the world, to make a positive impact is empowering us to get involved in whatever way we can. This rare planetary slow-down opens the fabric of space-time for all our global intentions to seed and blossom without the customary time lag. Our influence in the holographic field will be stronger and last longer than usual during the coming weeks.
