Family crashes into feral hogs on 130
A North Texas family is lucky to be alive after rolling their vehicle 10 times along SH 130 near Lockhart. The family was traveling along the highway last Friday when they struck a pack of feral hogs.
"Thirty hogs, in a pack, in the middle of the road, not moving," Jackie said.
Dallas hoping to hire trappers to relocate feral hogs roaming the city
According to this map, feral hogs have been seen here and there within Dallas' city limits - Kiest Park, around the Trinity River Audubon Center, near Flag Pole Hill and Lake Highlands and close to Elm Fork Athletic Complex.
"The City is experiencing feral hog problems on many of its properties," says the cry for help. "This solicitation is to develop and implement a City-wide feral hog control and abatement program. The primary goal is to establish an overall approach to the significant reduction or elimination of damage to property within the City as a result of feral hog activity."
