Life is change and it will happen with or without our cooperation, but the choices we make each day will determine whether or not we will grow in the process.

We are each living the life we choose. Of course I’m not talking about one epic all encompassing choice, but the result of the many, many small choices we make hourly, daily, and moment by moment.

Unfortunately many, if not most, of those choices are based on our unwavering commitment to do whatever it takes to avoid the unfamiliar.

Letting Go of Drama

You are here to enjoy life. You are not here to suffer over your drama or your personal importance. It’s not you; it doesn’t belong to your presence. You are here to be a dreamer, to be an artist, to be a seer. But you cannot be a seer when you only have eyes to see your own story, your own wounds, your own victimization. When you are still focusing on what your mother did to you 20 years ago, or 40 years ago, or what your father did, or what your partner did, or what any of the other secondary characters in your story did to you, then you are not seeing the truth. If you are focusing on all that drama, then talking to you is like talking to a wall. Does this ring any bells someplace?

Can you imagine if you went up to someone, drawn by their beautiful and unique energy, only to have them say, “I’m not a person, I’m a tree!” It would be very confusing, to say the least. You wouldn’t know whether to react to who they really were, or whether you should try to connect to them being a tree. You wouldn’t be sure who, or what, you were dealing with. Further, you would not be sure if you should water them and fertilize them or if you should give them a meal to sustain them.

Dear Ones, every time you deny who you really are, every time you put on a mask to hide your true self, your passions, your desires, your truth, you do the very same thing. It becomes hard to have the support you need because you are sending out such mixed messages.

This is something we get asked about fairly often, so I want to go into it in some detail. You've probably noticed that if you're around certain people for a while, you may start to not feel very good. Especially around negative people you may feel tired, a little bit ill, and emotionally drained. Every interaction between human beings is an exchange of energy, and while an equal exchange can be very synergistic and beautiful, an unequal exchange of energy can be a very ugly thing.

Australia wins whaling case against Japan

The UN's top court has ruled that Japan's whaling hunt in the Southern Ocean is not a scientific program as Tokyo has always claimed.

"The court concludes that the special permits granted by Japan for the killing, taking and treating of whales in connection with JARPA II are not for purposes of scientific research," President Peter Tomka told the International Court of Justice in The Hague on Monday.
The court ruled Tokyo should cease its whaling program "with immediate effect".

Today's event is the largest earthquake at Yellowstone since February 22, 1980, and occurred near the center of a region of recent ground uplift described in a YVO Information Statement on February 18, 2014. The Yellowstone Volcano Observatory has been tracking this uplift episode for about 7 months.
