When I look at the energy of September, I am shown a storm. Not a horrific storm, just a big rain storm. While collective energies don’t apply to everyone, they have an energy propensity that is swirling in the collective experience. What are storms to you? When the thunder is roaring and the lightening is flashing in the sky, do you feel scared, excited or maybe a little of both? Do you enjoy the power of it?
A storm is a rapid energy influx. It brings rapid clearing and renewal. It is a drenching of the nutrients of life (water and air into the earth) and an ignition of the fire of life. After a storm the air is highly ionized, the plants are a brighter green, the earth is a richer hue, and of course, sometimes there is a visible rainbow, showing us the light that is always there but the extra water in the sky holds it in density so that our eyes can perceive it. The heightened energy of a storm has an effect on our own electromagnetic field, exciting our electrons and feeding our cells with fresh air. It washes our fears to shore and cleanses what has clung to us. It is a rapid cleansing, and with that fresh approach, we are renewed. How you ‘weather’ the storm is a great metaphor for these times. As you walk the path of ascension, shifting your life from within, it is about adapting to new patterns of thought, new habits of perspective and new choices of Love. It requires the strength of going against the norm and finding yourself in the quiet moments of thunderous life.
The Sensitives and the Strong
Which one are you, sensitive or strong? If you answered both, you have done a lot of internal work opening the heart, releasing pain and integrating into the reality in which you live. I am noticing that the sensitive ones are starting to find the courage to open more and more. Quite frankly, 2013 has pushed many to the point of no return, which change seemingly more constant than even last year! With rapid change comes rapid manifestation. That means putting your personal empowerment at the forefront, because an empowered one need not dominate or be dominated. It is a co-creative sharing that results in a win-win, even if that takes some patience. Sometimes change doesn’t look so good in the beginning, like breaking up or losing a job. When you look back at the difficult changes you’ve been through, you should be able to find at least a few examples of how they’ve made you stronger. And thus, the meek inherit the earth.
The Equinox Balance
The energy of the Equinox is about balance as day and night are equal in length, marking the halfway point of the shortening of the days. Are you finding your balance with the rapid changes afoot? When you shift your perspective into the childlike excitement of it all, it becomes at least a little more fun! Not every moment is enjoyable, but balance and peace are within you to ride through them like the passing waves that they are. Find some time to have moments of enjoyment in the storm of September. Whether its the soothing sound of rain, an exciting flash of lightening or the sweetness of a fleeting rainbow, enjoy it all! Happy September!
