USGS measured depth at 63.6 km (39.5 miles), EMSC reports M 6.0 at depth of 67 km. Epicenter was located 110 km (68 miles) NNE of Tobelo, and 232 km (144 miles) NNE of Kota Ternate, Indonesia. GDACS estimated there are about 101 581 people living within 100 km radius.
