There has been much talk of 2012 and what didn't happen based on what was said. I too got caught up in it for a moment but underlying my feelings was the feeling that this was my shift and that whatever happened to me was up to me. So for those who are doubtful for getting swept up in a vision of 2012, I want to offer some guidelines for a greater understanding of the shift. I had to keep reminding myself that it was always a personal shift anyway. I place this in the channeling section because I am channeling the higher self and collective consciousness. The shift has happened to many people but is not always so easily discernable by those looking for massive change or physical reality change. Personally I am not a fan of measurement but it seems that as humans we are always looking for that way to determine where we are and where we are going even when we get there we look back to how we got there so in answer to the human need to measure, here is how to measure your shift, your path of enlightenment, your ascension:
1. Are you feeling any different? Day to day getting out of bed going to work, doing normal things - do you feel slightly above these things as if you, yourself are kind of looking down from a higher perspective and saying ok I have to function. You know you have to do these things but you are doing them from a higher, almost detached stance.
2. Is your intuition opened more widely - are you sensing the energy of people, places and things much more easily? Do you find yourself turning away from the negative, turning off from what you know to be a lie, not bothering with participating in an energetic field that you know is not right for you.
3. Are you drawn to higher vibrational foods, higher vibrational activities - you may want to cleanse your body, relesae toxins, exercise, sweat and purify your surroundings.
4. Are you looking for and finding your soul purpose, the one that puts you in a place of service to others? Do you want to come from love and take actions that serve and heal others - has this become much more important recently?
5. Are you acutely more aware of the pulses of life - the life of all sentient beings, the life of all that are in spirit, are you able to sense more profoundly the life that flows through all living things and those that are in higher dimensions?
6. Do you see the falshehoods that are now being revealed more and more in governments, churches and institutions - do you see these more clearly than ever before?
7. Are you more keenly aware of creating your reality from your thoughts and emotions and aligning with spirit - do you practice more of this alignment before you even taken action?
8. Are you aware of waves of energy that are flowing from the higher dimensions to you and are you feeling a reaction to them as well as working with them to shape your reality.
9. Are you want to live more simply, less consumerism, more nature and meditation, more joy and more meaning?
10. Are you having more vivid and symbolic dreams or dreams where you are traveling?
11. When you look back at who you were just a few years ago do you seem different today?
12. Do you have longer periods of inner peace to the point where your life becomes one of sustained inner peace?
13. Do you make choices, many small, but many choices to come from love regardless of the circumstances or potential outcome?
Change is not always thunderbolts of instant manifestation but subtle changes in consciousness so that at some point when we do look backwards we really get it - oh yes I have really grown. When you start to evolve all of these steps will feel more natural and less of a dramatic shift but more of a natural response. Just as when we are children we crawl but then when we begin to walk we actually forget that we used to have to crawl. Now many may be walking and forgetting they once crawled. So instead of measuring what 2012 did or did not bring you, turn only your eyes toward yourself and recongize that you are indeed evolving. Even if you only feel a few of these points resonate with you it is important to note that some people will develop more keenly in one area than others but eventually all of the areas will catch up.
It is also important to note there is no lack - there is no reason to be upset that 2012 did not carry with it the outward dramatic shift promised by many. So what? The shift was internal anyway, many of us, including me, just got caught in wanting it to be external. Those on a spiritual evolvement journey always know that the journey was more important than the destination. For those who are looking to concrete proof they can only find it within themselves.
The shift of 2012 was a personal journey - those who were able to drew in much energy - those who were not did not - the planet itself drew in much energy and so the shift continues but it is up to each of us to participate in our own evolution or we can become spectators wishing we knew why we were not in the game.
Those who have their truth meters running rampant at others may need to turn it on themselves and say ok where am I evolving? How am I particpating in my shift. Therein lies the truth of 2012, the individual journey toward ascension was always a personal journey.
