Odistar, it is kind of disheartening to still see people so fearful of being viewed by others as perceiving reality outside of herd-think mentality, as this woman clearly was with the reporter. ''No I don't think there are any aliens. I'm not that far gone! Stop, you're scaring me!''
Such is the state, the extent and the degree to which we self-police for the sake of the authorities so that we can be kept more easily under their firm control. Just as we've been trained to do. Trained through coercion, through peer-pressure for the sake of societal cohesiveness and through a healthy and reaonable fear of societal excommunication if we don't fall in-line. We're to display an attitude of disbelief in silly things like ALIENS & FLYING SAUCERS because all SANE people know that ALIENS & FLYING SAUCERS don't exist, right?
So to assure everyone that we're sane -- just like them -- we deny our own senses, our own intuition and our own intelligence so as not to be seen as the nail that's sticking-up and in need of hammering back in-place.
