Prayer for the Day…. Hold Steady
Change has come. Nothing remains the same.
Our lives fall apart. Extremely challenged,
tension has been wild.
We are learning to face our shadows
while staying in higher consciousness.
To come from such dark places of hell to light
Paradise takes flexibility.
Let peace flow with attitudes of gratitude.
So when death stalks,
we may find the blessing in every curse.
It is there and adds to the tipping point of lighter perspectives
rippling throughout society.
Send love to the darkest of dark. When they realize light,
they will expand like no other.
People of action and revolution have courage,
but let peace flow into me.
May I see the service of trauma even through my rage
and replace it with peace.
When I can’t do that, may I hold steady and be brave
enough to feel you there beside me.
