I like the title you have chosen by the way, as that is a good question to ask yourself today.
The title came from you my Lord! Why did you choose that title anyway? We are not human Do-ings. We are human Be-ings.
Yes I know, but why do you think I chose that title?
Because these are good questions to ask yourself: Am I doing this thing called Life? Am I being what I wish to Be? Am I following my heart and my dreams? I could go on and on with these questions…
They are all good questions to ask of yourself. But why would you want to ask yourself these questions now?
You know why… Many people are miserable and they do not have the awareness to realize why. Few take the time to sit down and analyze their feelings to find out why they feel that way. Many feel they have no choice but to carry on doing what they have always done.

China Earthquake 2013: Quake In Sichuan Kills At Least 179, Thousands Injured

YA'AN, China — Rescuers and relief teams struggled to rush supplies into the rural hills of China's Sichuan province Sunday after an earthquake left at least 179 people dead and more than 6,700 injured and prompted frightened survivors to spend a night in cars, tents and makeshift shelters.
The earthquake Saturday morning triggered landslides that cut off roads and disrupted phone and power connections in mountainous Lushan county, further south on the same fault line where a devastating quake wreaked widespread damage across the region five years ago.

As comet ISON is approaching for its close encounter with the sun in November, 2013, excitement and anticipation are rising. Already being named the potential “Comet of the century” by some, because of the show it might put on for stargazers all over our planet, ISON might have yet one more surprise for us.
An observation of the comet in January 2013 by NASA’s Swift spacecraft, when ISON was still near the orbit of Jupiter, showed that it was already very active. The comet was ejecting more than 112,000 pounds of dust from its nucleus every minute. It looks like some of that dust might end up on Earth.
James Redfield speaks of Love and Unity
James Redfield is an American author, lecturer, screenwriter and film producer. He is notable for his novel The Celestine Prophecy, which was a novel of the New Age Movement.
Redfield is best known as the author of the best selling novel The Celestine Prophecy. He grew up in a rural area near Birmingham, Alabama. As a young man, he studied Eastern philosophies, including Taoism and Zen, while majoring in sociology at Auburn University. He later received a Master's degree in counseling and spent more than 15 years as a therapist to abused adolescents. During this time, he was drawn into the human potential movement and turned to it for theories about intuitions and psychic phenomena that would help his clients.
In 1989, he quit his job as a therapist to write full-time, synthesizing his interest in interactive psychology, Eastern and Western philosophies, science, futurism, ecology, history, and mysticism.
When Redfield self-published his first novel in 1992 (Satori Publishing), the immediate interest from booksellers and readers made The Celestine Prophecy one of the most successful self-published books of all time. Warner Books bought the rights and published the hard cover edition in March 1994. The book quickly climbed to the #1 position on the New York Times Best Seller List. According to Publishing Trends, The Celestine Prophecy was the #1 international bestseller of 1996 (#2 in 1995). The novel spent over 3 years on the New York Times Best Seller List. As of May 2005, The Celestine Prophecy had sold over 20 million copies worldwide and had been translated into 34 languages. In 1996, the sequel, The Tenth Insight: Holding the Vision (Warner Books), also became a bestseller. The two books spent a combined 74 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List, making James Redfield the best-selling hard cover author in the world in 1996, as cited in BP Report (January 1997).

Flooding in the Midwest has turned fatal, with at least two deaths blamed on flash flooding and a third suspected. States of emergency were declared in half a dozen states, residents were evacuated and roads were closed in the affected areas.
On Saturday, more than 50 river/stream gauges were in major flood in parts of Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan.

If you're in the right place outdoors on the night of Earth Day, keep an eye on the sky. You're likely to see something that only comes along once a year: the annual Lyrid meteor shower.
Set to make their annual spring return on the night of April 22-23 – though it began as early as April 16 and can last through April 26 – the Lyrids are named for the constellation Lyra, where they originate near the star called Alpha Lyrae, or Vega.

Snowboarders Killed in Colorado Avalanche

GEORGETOWN, Colo. -- Five snowboarders were killed Saturday afternoon after apparently triggering a backcountry avalanche on Colorado's Loveland Pass, authorities said.
Search and rescue crews recovered the bodies several hours after the slide, which was 600 yards wide and eight feet deep, said Clear Creek County Sheriff Don Krueger.

LYRID METEOR SHOWER PEAKS TONIGHT

Earth is passing through a stream of debris from ancient Comet Thatcher, source of the annual Lyrid Meteor Shower. Usually the shower is mild (10-20 meteors per hour) but unmapped filaments of dust in the comet's tail sometimes trigger outbursts ten times stronger. Forecasters say the best time to look is during the dark hours before local dawn on Monday, April 22nd.

Sometimes you have to draw the line. Sometimes you have to say no. You want to be a loving person. Just the same, sometimes you have to say no. Sometimes you are not in someone’s good graces. You cannot keep appeasing. Loving and appeasing are not the same thing.
You can love without further personal investment. Of course, you would love everyone to love you and appreciate you, and yet everyone doesn’t always seem to want to be with you. Then love from afar. Bless rather than interact. Giving love is not meant to be a performance or a penance. You are not here on Earth to stretch the limits of your endurance.
