Space Weather and Our Hearts

I love space weather.  In a sense, other than the feeling of overwhelming scope and expansion, I am drawn to the fact that we are actually connected to that.  What happens with the Sun not only affects our planet's magnetosphere, our weather, and our crops, but it affects us.  And we affect it and the rest of the cosmos - we are all One.
Thanks to NASA, this is a picture of our Sun right now and the larger 'S' shaped dark feature is a coronal hole facing Earth.  Magnetic loops - see picture below - typically contain the energy coming from the Sun, but in the case of a coronal hole, solar energy doesn't loop back in and toward itself; it streams outward.  If facing Earth, these streams of solar material (charged particles and high-density plasma) then form solar wind that affects Earth's atmospheres.

Now, what does this mean to us?  According to a number of scientists and solar scientists [as I've researched in Spacedaily.com, New Scientist magazine, and NASA.com], there is a direct connection between the Sun’s solar energy and the human biological system.  "The conduit which steers Earth’s weather through the Magnetic Field on Earth is the same conduit that facilitates the influx of charged particles from the Sun through the magnetic (auric) field around the human body."  More specifically, according to RIA Novosti, "They [auroras and magnetic storms caused by solar winds] change the blood flow, especially in capillaries, affect blood pressure, and boost adrenalin... The heart and cardio-vascular system have always been considered the main biological targets of geomagnetic activity."

This coronal hole, the solar energy streaming from it, along with the cosmic ray influx, are all reaching us now (29 March), which is the same time the Sun conjuncts with Venus, Mars, and Uranus in the constellation of Aries.  Overall, our little pocket of the cosmos is VERY active now.  Not to mention, there are 7 planets (Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Chiron, Saturn, and Pluto) ALL at 11 degrees.  Eleven is a master number, representing "spiritual awakening, enlightenment, high energy, idealism, inspiration and intuition, illumination, visionary, enthusiasm, creative/creativity, self-expression and sensitivity, and mysticism.  Number 11 tells us that to connect with our higher-selves is to know and live our soul mission and life purpose" - by Joanne Sacred Scribes.  Very fitting, considering it's Easter weekend - a time of resurrection and rebirth.  Wow!

From a holistic, human consciousness perspective, though our entire being is affected in some way by geomagnetic storms (because we are in essence made of energy, no matter how dense it is), I find it particularly interesting that the HEART is the target, not the brain.

Gregg Braden illustrates the impact of this in the following:

"Here’s the bottom line: our world is made of electromagnetic fields of information. If you want to change something in the world, you’ve got to communicate within that electromagnetic field.

Interestingly, science has now found—and this has been published in peer-reviewed journals over the last few years—that the human heart is the largest generator of electrical and magnetic fields in the body.

Our brains generate an electrical and a magnetic field, but they’re relatively weak, as compared to the heart. The electrical field of the heart is about 100 times stronger than that of the brain, and the heart’s magnetic field is about 5,000 times stronger than the magnetic field of the brain.

Our own physics textbooks say that if you want to change the atoms of physical matter, you have to change either the electrical field or the magnetic field; the heart does both."

This means that the heart is the nuclear power house and motherboard of our being.  If we want to change, if we want to live a more pleasant, love-filled, life of freedom, then we need to communicate with our hearts.  What else do we want other than to live in such a way.  Someone may say, "I want more money."  The purpose of having all that money would likely be to gain more recognition, to be respected, to have a bigger, lovelier home, to have a beautiful partner, etc.  All of this could be considered to enhance the ego, but ultimately, it is to be loved and to have a more pleasant life.

Our heart holds the answers, but the potential refined energies of love, peace, joy, and lightness can become blocked with resentments, fears, jealousies, angers, and hubris.  Despite these blocks, the heart is still accessible and remains the answer in releasing such blocks.

The brain will never know how to love.  You cannot teach it to love; you cannot look it up in the dictionary and fully grasp its meaning.  There are many definitions of love [http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/love?s=t] and none of them can teach a child how to love.  It is shown by example.  A parent can tell their child all sorts of things that have the idea of love: "Hug her, apologize, say sweet things, do your chores," etc.  The parent can DO and SAY all that gives the impression of love, but if it isn't felt, love is not actually being communicated or taught.  Love is shown and taught by being embodied.

In going back to this stream of solar wind reaching us on the 29th and 30th - along with the alignment - this high-frequency plasma energy will be moving through us and into our hearts fast and furiously.  We can choose to hold onto dense energies, feel like we're being hit with a sledgehammer, and resist.  Or we can choose to let go and take this opportunity to literally lighten up and embody this solar energy, which is actually changing our physical bodies, our hearts, and ultimately raising our consciousness.

To continue on this line, I'd like to link our micro-universe of personal concerns, everyday feelings and emotions, etc to a larger picture... I'm a big-picture kind of gal anyway.  We are not islands.  And I'd like to venture into the topic of how the magnetic field of our hearts impact the macrocosm.

Gregg Braden explains this beautifully...

"In the past few years, our own science has made a radical, revolutionary discovery that changes everything about the way we think of ourselves and the world. What they found is that when we create heart-based feelings of gratitude, appreciation, care-literally, using the muscle of the heart to create these feelings-what we're actually doing is generating a magnetic field inside our bodies that is part of the magnetic field of the Earth that undergoes the change.

The Earth's magnetic field rises, falls, and regulates everything from climate to ice caps and sea levels. This magnetic field joins all life on Earth from a blade of grass, to an ant, to a goldfish, to a hamster, to us. When many of us come together and create a common feeling, that experience is called 'coherence.' 'Coherence' can actually be measured. It is 0.10 Hertz. That is the measurement of the coherence created between the heart and the brain.

Scientists first found out about this during 9/11 when our satellites 22,000 miles in space began to register changes in the magnetic field of the Earth, when humans were having feelings about September 11th and the World Trade Center. This is a surprise to science. They asked, 'Why would people experiencing 9/11, why would that possibly affect the magnetic fields of the Earth? There's no connection, right?' Well, wrong. They found that there is a connection and this has led to what is called the Global Coherence Initiative Project.

Scientists are now building the sensors that can measure these magnetic fields and put them up onto the website where you can watch the fields change everyday in real time. In addition to measuring this field, the Global Coherence Project aim is to teach people how to create coherence in their everyday lives. It's not a hard thing to do, and you don't have to change your lives to do it. You don't have to change your meditations, your prayers, or any practice. It's a way of being in our hearts as we go throughout the day that's very easy to learn.

When we create this coherence inside our bodies, it triggers about 1,400 biochemical changes. Anti-aging processes begin. DHEA level-the life-giving hormone-surges in our bodies. Our immune systems become really strong. We think more clearly. We become less aggressive. The magnetic fields of the heart are now being documented. We are facing the greatest challenges of 5,000 years of recorded human history. As we face the great challenges of our time, we are asking, 'What can we do?' Here's what we can do: We can learn the language of the magnetic field that is creating the changes and help bring that field from chaos into order."

In a sense, this means learning the language of our hearts.

How can I become a more loving person?

How does it make me feel when I withhold love and forgiveness?

How does it make me feel when I am generous?

What do I feel?  And why do I feel this?  How can I harmonize this feeling into a more peaceful existence?

How can I invite more peace in my life and in my relationships?

How can I respect and honor the space and boundaries I need for self-love?

in love and light,

Melanie
