Depth of the earthquake was just 9.7 km (6.0 miles), and epicenter was 268 km (166 miles) ESE of Ozernovskiy, Russia and 273 km (169 miles) SSE of Vilyuchinsk, Russia at coordinates 0.718°N, 160.155°E. EMSC reported M6.0 at depth of 10 km (6.21 miles). According to GDACS, this earthquake can have a low humanitarian impact based on the Magnitude and the affected population and their vulnerability.
