Epicenter of the earthquake was located 21 km (13 miles) SE of Buli, Taiwan and 39 km (24 miles) ENE of Lugu, Taiwan at coordinates 23.840°N, 121.135°E. USGS reported depth at 20.7 km (12.9 miles) whereas EMSC reported depth at 21 km (13.04 miles) and magnitude 6.0.
