How does one communicate what it's like to experience the Transcendent? There simply aren't any words, I could write all day long and never even come close to really capturing the wealth of feelings that come from directly experiencing the realms of Spirit. Art does a far better job of expressing what words cannot, and that's the intent behind the fractal art I'm now sharing.
These are meant to convey a sense of wonder and mystery. They represent something just outside the “normal” realms of perception. Being fractals, they have a mind-blowing level of complexity, the patterns repeat infinitely, and what these images display is only the tip of the iceberg.
These are created with a program called Apophysis 7x, which uses Scott Draves' fractal flame algorithm. While they're based upon some rather complex math, my creation process is more intuitive than logical. I don't necessarily have an image in mind when I'm creating them, it's more a process of exploration and discovery. Many of my favorites came through “happy accidents” where a seemingly small change resulted in something entirely new.
These are my gift to you, and I'm giving away high resolution versions that can be use to make 8x10 or 8x12 inch prints, though even larger sized prints should be possible as well. There's also sizes for use as desktop and mobile backgrounds, and smaller versions for sharing online.
While I'm giving these all away for free, it's my intention that people who do use them give a donation in return, big or small. Each one is the result of hours of work creating, rendering and then polishing them up with an image editing program. I'd like to use the donations to help support the Galactic Free Press, and depending upon how successful this is, I will continue to create and give away new artworks. I see giving freely as a big part of the new paradigm, but it works much better when it's not just one-sided.
Also, if you do post these online, I'm requesting that you give credit by linking back to this page, but, like the donation, it's not a requirement.

If you're interested in commissioning a higher-resolution version of one of these pieces, please contact us. I can also alter the colors, dimensions, and various other parts of the fractals.
Legal stuff: While I'm granting permission to reuse these images, I'm not giving away the rights to these images. Mostly this means that you can't go sell them someplace else, and the image rights still belong to myself, William Harader.
