To my Sibling Soul-Beings,
If it is possible, I would like to help expand our understanding regarding the art of awakening. I have come to realize as of late, that it is rather difficult to address such a subject because its nature is intrinsic and intuitive, that is to say, it is internal and non-empirical. How can I help others with something that cannot be demonstrated in any conventional means? How can a proper Illustration be made? From what I hear once you become truly awakened, or enlightened- that is to say- the very instant you make that sudden connection: it is done, that is it- you are on a whole new path- a whole new journey. Your travels on the road of Mortality are over and your new journey on the road of Immortality begins. So who am I to promote such a thing when I myself am not enlightened? Am I in error?
Probably, the best thing I can do is to emphasize the key-role of what we call Awareness. I believe it to be true when it is said of us: we are already one, and we are god, and we are the same thing as our higher selves. Having said that let me add that saying these things (whether they are true or not) is one thing, but to experience it in full conscious view is another. The Apex; the very Crux; the Crowning Moment of awakening is pinned entirely on what the awareness encounters. And by that, I mean, what you experience directly with your consciousness. I do not think I could type long enough and emphasize strongly enough the sheer unwavering importance of this one factor: Direct Experience. To put it in layman's terms or to speak euphemistically: you can talk the talk all day long- but until you experience it directly you haven't done it.
Additionally, based on what I have learned, when one becomes enlightened there is a very distinct before and after contrast. Your demeanor is different, you know things, and as a result of connecting with the Universal-self you have no further need to talk about it, and by that I mean; you can't hide the fact that you are now enlightened nor can you say you have it when you don't. What each one of you will experience on your moment of awakening will be entirely yours and yours alone to experience and furthermore, while although there maybe certain milestones we all cross on the path back home- it can and still will be very relative to us and our personal journey. I might also add it will be very relative to you (the individual self) and your Higher Self (the universal you). So to put it frankly, yes you are and will always be an individual self and yes you are and will always be a Universal self. The key is to realize this with consciousness- to house both in your awareness is the ultimate goal. And that is just the beginning.
In the original article of mine, I mentioned how the Soul extends itself and forms/wears an energy body and then it is able to grow a physical flesh body around it. I mentioned that the Soul does this (to become embodied) so that it has a means or a 'claim' (id est; to stake a claim) in this physical world we call reality (or is that physical reality we call the world? lol) To add or to extend this thought further allow me to phrase it a different manner.
The Key lies with what is within the field of Awareness. As far as I can tell, and from what I have gathered through my meager experience here in the body- we can only work with what we are aware of. I am reasonably certain that most of you are familiar with the expression: Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.? Let us not worry about where it came from, for that is not relevant here- what is pertinent is the dynamics of Will.
Will. First of all, to describe all of the facets of Will will take another article entirely and so, in order to bypass this for the moment- I will just simply say that Will in the sense I am using the term is in fact a source of Power. By Power I mean you can use it to run equipment; to make things happen; Will can be used to form an object in the Ethereal realm just by imaging said object. As Soul beings we operate entirely by Will- think about it, we are formless and our natural state is to be points of awareness- either many bodies or any body or no body... so I believe it to be very sensible to conclude that Will is our primary 'creative and directive force/power'. With this in mind, let me go further by saying we can only work with what we are aware of - and that pertains to Will as well.
Let me posit to you that we have more Will at our disposal than currently estimated. I can say this because in our heads we can imagine ourselves doing all kinds of super-human things (just take a look at star-trek or Superman or Dragon Ball Z for that matter). Some would say that it is only the product of our fanciful imaginations but I say it is how we truly are only that we have not enough access to our true natures in order to effect what's in our imaginations. For those of you who know how the Astral planes work- I believe you can attest to how we truly are outside of the body. We fly, we teleport, we assume any shape, we can be just nothing.. et cetera. In fact the only reason why human beings dream up of all the amazing and super-human things we demonstrate through our popular culture (ie movies shows comics and books) is because it is a mere reflection or echo of how we truly are in the first place. To put it frankly, the only reason why we come up with telekinesis, for instance, is because it is very real and natural to us. The issue we face, therefore, is not one of belief or realism- but one of mechanics, that is to say- to find a way to bring our abilities into fruition. And the fulcrum of this is pinned on Will and Awareness I believe.
You can only work with what is within your field of awareness. The amount of Will we use while in the body pales in comparison to our natural and inherent access to Will as Souls. Of course there are many varying degrees of Will- if you are not very much up the ladder of enlightenment as a Soul you may not be able to use Will to materialize a whole new galaxy as of yet, which is fine, in this creation I believe there are many beings above and below us- ones that we are supreme to and ones that far out stretch our wildest imaginations as far as superiority is concerned. It has been my practice in cases like this to always respect my own position in the scale- but to also just focus on what is at hand for me now- I will worry about constructing galaxies when the time comes.
Now, having addressed the concept of Will as as creative force/power-source, let us continue: When the Soul identifies with the flesh body it is doing something that is akin to tilting it's awareness from the central position, which is the utmost center part of a sphere, outward to the surface skin of the sphere. The Sphere in this case is the Soul which shines (it is helpful to think of the Sun in this analogy). Think about this for a second. With the awareness centralized the Soul shines 360 degrees like a Star does- but when Souls directs its awareness to a Localized Flesh body- it then becomes something like a conical light- like a flashlight beam or narrow like a laser. The Soul then loses its centralized concept of being- that is to say it doesn't realize its own omnipotence and immortality. When the Soul identifies with itself as a flesh-human/person it limits itself. As the Soul goes through the life thinking(and believing) that it is a human person, then it is cut off from an enormous amount of it's own power. While embodied the Soul does have access to some of its Will- just not a lot. This explains why we can imagine super-powerful abilities but we cannot do them except in dreams and outside the body.
This is where that phrase comes into play- thy will be done (souls access to Will) on earth (in the physical world) as it is in heaven (the Selfs world - ie imagination) and you can see just from what I have shown so far- the sheer importance of becoming awakened or enlightened. When you truly become awakened you cease to identify with your fleshy body personality and you connect or re-connect with your true awareness...And the key still lies in what you experience Directly- now that you restore your consciousness to it's centralized 'seat' (or throne) you have access to your 'kingdom' (the enormous amount of Will the Soul has access to naturally.)
I will close this by saying I am still living in the pre-enlightenment stage of life, and it is my hope and wish that we all become awakened with respect to everyone's relative path. I still maintain we are here to accomplish this natural and divine deed, both collectively and individually. I feel that speaking about enlightenment, aka to become awakened, in a open and friendly manner is synonymous to encouraging it into fruition. I am sorry if this causes anyone strife or friction, just know that I do respect you on your own path. After all, there is nothing out there that can be any more accommodating than our grand and wise Universe- we have all the room, time and worlds we need to sort this out.
I can't wait for everyone to become illumined within and we can finally put down our tired and worn out misery like old ragged toys and move forward towards unimaginably amazing times, and to help give rise to the earth-consciousness so that she can take her spot as a world of permanent light. I realize that we are not there yet- because people are still reflecting a lot of the muck and sludge of darkened living, but alas, the rising fire cooks out the impurities and perhaps it is best to take it as a sign of the rising new Sun.
