The Unified Field Is Consciousness!

Chakra system and nature of reality

I want to continue my discussion of the nature of consciousness. More than a year ago, I came up with a theory that maybe the fabric of space itself contains consciousness. I went further to say that the fabric of space-time actually is consciousness. They are one and the same. Given that all physical objects in the universe are fundamentally nothing more than vibrations of the fabric of space, then all objects are composed of consciousness.

I went further to say that complexity somehow moulds raw consciousness into true self-awareness and intelligence. I hypothesised that, therefore, all objects are in some sense conscious, but the more complex the object, the more conscious it is. However, the raw consciousness contained within, say, a stone, is so negligible, that this stone can’t be said to be self-aware… obviously. But the human brain, being highly complex, is highly intelligent. It moulds the universe’s raw consciousness into true self-awareness.

Well, that was then, and this is now. I move constantly upward and onward in my knowledge of things, and I’ve since learnt a bit more about the nature of consciousness. Quantum theorists are only now just beginning to touch onto the science of consciousness. I was bound to happen some day, and it’s happening right now. It didn’t take me long to Google up websites talking about the “Field of Consciousness”, and how it is one and the same with the Unified Field.

The Unified Field is the basis of all science. Every physical object can be described as being composed of subatomic particles, namely various types of molecules. These molecules are composed of even smaller particles – atoms. Atoms are mostly empty space, being themselves composed of even smaller particles – electrons, protons and neutrons.

Protons and neutrons are made of even smaller particles – quarks. But even that’s not the end of the story, because these particles, so small they hardly exist, are nothing more than vibrations of the void of space. There are thousands of forces in nature, but they all boil down to only four. These four forces, namely the weak nuclear, strong nuclear, electromagnetic and gravitational forces, act on the fundamental particles of nature to generate the world we are all familiar with.
All of these particles and forces ultimately boil down to superstrings - minute string-like vibrations in space. Superstrings help to bring all the superficially differing aspects of the physical universe under one umbrella. All of science ultimately boils down to the Unified Field – the Theory of Everything. The Unified Field is self-referential, and therefore self-aware, in its very definition.

Scientists have always assumed that consciousness emerges from the brain. But it’s always been an enigma that that magical spark in the brain hasn’t been identified. It can now, however, be shown that consciousness emerges from the fabric of space-time itself. The true enigma, then, is the question of why the human brain seems like it should be the originator of self-awareness, and seems like the seat of the human intellect.

Here, I invoke Darwinian evolution. In the same way that all the various parts of the human body evolved from generation to generation over countless millennia through natural selection – to cope with survival in a tough world – the brain evolved to take advantage of the self-referential quality of the Unified Field. The reason for this… well, it makes sense that intelligence helps a species to survive. We need look no further than the world we’ve built around us to see this. Humans have conquered the planet!

So, I don’t think I was quite on the mark when I said that complexity somehow moulds consciousness into true self-awareness, although perhaps there is some truth to it. The Unified Field lies at the heart of everything.

I sometimes sit alone quietly and look deep within myself, pondering my own self-awareness, in awe that I am part of a universal consciousness field that unites all of reality. Life after death, to name but one thing, is no longer a mystery to me. The past five or ten years have been a real journey for me. I believe that everyone should have an understanding of who and what they are, and I believe the world, and the neo-con leaders of the world are actively discouraging this knowledge. But that’s another story.

Translated or quoted from Samkhya:

Puruṣa is the transcendental self or pure consciousness. It is absolute, independent, free, imperceptible, unknowable through other agencies, above any experience by mind or senses and beyond any words or explanations. It remains pure, “nonattributive consciousness”.----------

Consciousness is NOT composed from matter particles (matter = prakriti) therefore is difficult to perceive it as field or interaction of fields (=unknowable through other agencies).
