Winter Storm Hercules: 9 Deaths Blamed on Extreme Winter Weather

Winter Storm Hercules unleashed more heavy snow, ferocious winds and crippling cold in the Northeast and New England Friday morning, refusing to take it easy on the highly-populated I-95 corridor. At least nine people have died and thousands have lost power to their homes and businesses. "Each of our named storms has its own personality," said Tom Niziol, winter weather expert for The Weather Channel. "With Hercules, if you live in New England, you can feel the power. It's not only the snow, but it's the wind and the cold, too."
