A stalled area of low pressure in the upper atmosphere that brought snow to parts of Israel and Syria in recent days has now reportedly delivered a rare coating of snow to portions of northern Egypt on Friday. The photos below gathered from Twitter show the snow in northern Egypt, including some from near the Cairo area. Given its desert climate, precipitation of any kind is a rarity in Cairo. The city averages less than an inch of rain each year.

As the nation turns its attention to the latest federal budget deal where curtailed spending and cuts are the defining principal, a dozen blue and red state governors are in a bidding war recklessly offering to spend billions for tax breaks and other public-paid subsidies to lure the corporate giant Boeing to build its next-generation aircraft factory.

Beyond the schizophrenic spectre of congressional negotiators saying no to spending as governors are offering mountains of cash is a maddening reality: these taxpayer subsidies do not create the promised jobs or investments, a series of striking academic studies have found. All they do is boost bottom lines by cutting corporate costs.

It’s been said that our presence on this planet is helping Create massive change, and I can imagine this is because those of us who chose to come here from the higher realms to participate in the collective awakening have come with a naturally strong spiritual connection that’s reflected energetically in the collective consciousness.

Of course, to discuss this is to get into tricky territory, because I don’t want to paint those who’ve come here to help uplift the collective as somehow “better” than those who’ve come here to experiment in the low vibrations.

In my opinion, we all maintain a constant and strong spiritual connection – it’s simply that our readiness and willingness to realize it exists and tap into it determines the strength of its expression in this reality.
