Comet ISON is doing just fine! It continues to behave like a fairly typical, if somewhat smaller-than-average, Oort Cloud comet. It has given no indication that it has fragmented and while such an event can never be ruled out, we see no evidence or hint that the comet is in any imminent danger of doing so. Any reports to the contrary are just speculation.

How can we be so sure? Because we can see the comet! Opposite is just one more recent example of an extremely high-quality image of ISON taken by Nick Howes, Ernesto Guido and Martino Nicolini as part of a series of daily imaging sequences they have been recording to help study the morphology (shape, size, etc) of comet ISON.

An international team of astronomers has discovered an exotic young planet that is not orbiting a star. This free-floating planet, dubbed PSO J318.5-22, is just 80 light-years away from Earth and has a mass only six times that of Jupiter. The planet formed a mere 12 million years ago—a newborn in planet lifetimes.

It was identified from its faint and unique heat signature by the Pan-STARRS 1 (PS1) wide-field survey telescope on Haleakala, Maui. Follow-up observations using other telescopes in Hawaii show that it has properties similar to those of gas-giant planets found orbiting around young stars. And yet PSO J318.5-22 is all by itself, without a host star.

This weekend we had a New Moon in the harmony-loving sign of Libra, but you’d be forgiven for thinking we’ve just gone through a super-powered Full Moon! There was (and still is) so much emotional energy in the air triggering torrents of anger, sadness and grief for many. Others may have felt a vague discomfort, feeling anxious or irritable for no apparent reason. 

Aside from any astrological influences, one has to wonder if the Sun is finally doing its magnetic pole flip – scientists predicted a 3-4 month window back in August – only it’s a little hard to find out with the NASA website and majority of NASA staff not working at the moment due to the Government shutdown!            

However, that ‘wondering’ may just be our human minds searching for some sort of logical, rational explanation for how so many of us are feeling right now when the truth is there is no  one logical or rational explanation. There are multiple explanations within an overall evolutionary explanation. We are now officially living in the Shift between an old way of living and being, and a new way of living and being.  If it feels like there is no solid ground to stand on right now, it’s because in many ways there isn’t!

The last time, we showed you that the essence of it all is in creating, or the energy that has been given the task of creating it all, from big and small, tangible and less so. This in itself can be very difficult to fathom, but let us again try to give you another view and perhaps this will make things percolate even deeper into your being. For you are indeed an intrinsic part of it all, but the construction of everything is still a mystery to you and to everyone else sharing this little planet with you. You are just a speck of dust in so many ways, but this small speck of dust is also a very complex structure, connected and separated in so many different ways and different levels. For what you see as humanity, we see as just one separate layer of a huge mass of something far more complex than even the complex structure of the human body. That in itself is indeed a construction worthy several volumes of disemmination, but let us let that rest for now. For what we are wanting to delve into, is the complexity, or rather simplicity, behind the scenes, as they are even more fantastic than the tangible results you see, feel and hear on your side of the veil.

It is easy to perceive or feel that life should be a different way.  It is one facet of the grand paradox of Life.  All is Well in this moment, yet all is changing in this moment.  If all is well, why is there change?  In these moments of paradox, you find new space.  When there is no definitive answer or direction, there is the void of potential.  Here you release your definitions and you find your dispersed, subtle nature that has not one answer, but multiple perspectives of Truth.  It is the way of Truth, it changes with you.  Within paradox, your truth expands; first undefined, then refined, then released again for the next wave of expansion.  This expansion is a result of you releasing your preconceived notions and definitions, opening your heart and mind and finding your new, expanded Self in the quiet moment of paradox.  The noise is the internal and external chatter that tries to define or hold stagnant the inevitable expansion.

The name of Lauryn Hill’s breakout album was The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill but it now appears that the powers that be would like her to record a new album called The Re-Education of Lauryn Hill. After appearing in court for tax evasion, Hill was sentenced to three months in jail PLUS she must attend “counseling” due to her “conspiracy theories”.

According to the IBTimes, Hill told the court: “I am a child of former slaves who had a system imposed on them. I had an economic system imposed on me.” Furthermore, Hill also believes that artists are being oppressed by (what the article calls) “a plot involving the military and media”. Because of these statements, Hill was ordered to undergo “counseling”, which is a way of saying that she is mentally ill and that she needs some sort of re-programming session regain “sanity”.

A LEADING vascular surgeon, whose research review concluded cholesterol-lowering medicines may do more harm than good for many otherwise healthy people, has been gagged by the Health Service Executive. Sherif Sultan, a senior medic at University College Hospital, Galway, reviewed a range of studies of statins and found a lack of evidence to show they should be given as a means of prevention to healthy people with high cholesterol but no heart disease.
