A crop circle in Halesowen. Greg Jefferys estimates this one to be about ten meters in diameter. He points out the shadow on its south east perimeter corresponds precisely with the shadows cast by the trees and hedges and that the quality of the image is high enough to show there are no tracks through the grain crop leading to or from the crop circle

 

But research by Greg Jefferys has revealed evidence of the strange circles in the English countryside at least 33 years before Chorley and Bower took credit for the phenomena – which until then had been attributed to UFOs and alien activity.

Jefferys, who has a degree in archaeology, was prompted to research the matter after reading a report on crop circles in an 1880 edition of the science journal Nature.

I wanted to share an unusual experience I had during a Metatronia Therapy  healing session.  I was working with a dear friend of mine who is also a member of my soul-group and Team.  She lives in Australia and I’m in the USA, but as we know, things like physical distance and linear time are hardly relevant when we’re talking about friendships that stem all the way back to when we were itty bitty sparks of Sourcelight!  Such is the case with Bonnie and I.

We connected when she came to me as a client, and it was instant recognition.  We have come in to the Human experience as a large group of female beings, all here to anchor the Mother’s energy, spread her Light and practice our unique healing modalities.  I refer to us simply as “The Girls”, and there are quite a few of us who have managed to find each other.  We’re scattered all over the globe.  Some of us are more local than others.  Several of us have been receiving the information that we are still a bit too disconnected and that this was not necessarily the original plan we made, before we chose to incarnate.  As with everything else, life tends to get in the way.

The angels, who are ever hovering on the borders of consciousness, started a message: “We are the Angelic Legions of the Divine Mother. In supporting you, we serve the Mother in bringing heaven to earth. You are our family; you are doing the same by being human, and living through the experience of being in a body in a world going through a tremendous transition.”

And there the transmission stopped. Nothing more has come. No visitations. No insights. Nothing.

I let it go for the time being and did some housework, always a form of active meditation for me and some gardening. Still nothing came in the form of a message. And then it occurred to me – I’m in a state of reconstruction or rather, deconstruction, at the moment, in present time. All I need do is to simply be. Right. Well, it is far easier to write about “being” than to actually just let go. The ego or rational mind likes to justify its existence by setting up scenarios and what ifs; it takes patience and persistence to kindly say, “I’m fine doing nothing here right now.”

R.I.P. Richard Matheson, Author of I Am Legend and Many Other Classics

Beloved author Richard Matheson passed yesterday at the age of 87, after a long illness. Best known for his seminal work I Am Legend, he leaves not just a legacy of great science fiction, but an indelible mark on American pop culture.

Along with I Am Legend, Matheson wrote What Dreams May Come, A Stir of Echoes, and The Shrinking Man, all of which became Hollywood movies (in the case of I Am Legend, more than a few times). He was also one of the original Twilight Zone's greatest screenwriters, penned the classic William Shatner-starring episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet." His Twilight Zone episode "Steel" became the basis for Real Steel, starring Hugh Jackman.

But Matheson was hardly just a Hollywood idea factory. Matheson's dark, existentialist style influenced science fiction in every medium. His prose was humanist, but it was also bleak and ambiguous in a way that science fiction hadn't been before, revealing the way the ambiguities of human nature play into stories of the fantastic.

Ray Bradbury called him "one of the most important writers of the 20th century," and Stephen King credited Matheson as "the author who influenced me most as a writer."

Mount Shasta volcano showed signs of elevated seismicity since June 11, 2013. The volcano typically displays a relatively low rate of earthquake occurrence. Earthquake-Report connects the recent uptick in seismicity at Mount Shasta, the Greenville earthquake sequence, several deep (30-40 km depth) events beneath the Klamath Mountains to the west, as well as recent small earthquakes at Lassen Peak; and relates them with ended slow-slip event along the subducted slab beneath the region. Slow-slip occurs when the overlying crustal plate periodically (and only partially) detaches from the underlying (subducting) oceanic plate and slowly slips (millimeters/day) westward (contrary to its normal eastward movement) over a period of days to weeks. The events occur about every 14 months beneath Washington and British Columbia, about every two years beneath Oregon (one just occurred there earlier this year!), and yearly beneath Northern California.
