Various watches, warnings, and advisories are in effect for the lake-effect snow threat, which continues downwind of all five Great Lakes (although the Lake Huron snows will mostly affect Canada).

January 22, 2013 – NEW ZEALAND – Volcanic activity at White Island is the most “vigorous” in years and could mean a large explosive eruption is imminent, GNS Science says. The volcano, off the Bay of Plenty coast, is the country’s most active and showed heightened signs of unrest last year. But it is the increased hydrothermal activity in the last three weeks which is of “significant concern,” GNS vulcanologist Brad Scott says. “I don’t think I’ve seen anything this strong since the late 90s and 2000s.” The activity then led to a large eruption in July, 2000.
Access to 5D grids has been expanded to allow more Gaia earth personnel to connect to instructions from Galactic Source. January 22, 2013 – KAMCHATKA – Three volcanoes in Russia’s Kamchatka continue to send steam and ash into the air while lava flows down their slopes. Volcanic activity on the peninsula has dramatically intensified. Aviation authorities issued an orange security level in the area. The volcanoes Shiveluch, Kizimen and Plosky Talbachek are erupting in different parts of the peninsula simultaneously, causing dozens of local earthquakes, as the vibrations accompanying the eruptions of the giants continue to increase. The biggest and most active is Shiveluch, Kamchatka’s northernmost volcano and 3,283 meters high.
January 22, 2013 – HAWAII – Eruptive activity at the Big Island’s Kilauea volcano is picking up at the Pu u Oo vent and Halemaumau Crater. At the Pu u Oo vent, situated in the volcano’s East Rift Zone, lava flows are sporadically spilling onto the east flank of the vent. The volume of lava streaming to ocean entry is increasing slightly, with small entry points now spread along the coastline near Kupapu Point on both sides of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The current ocean-entry flow has been under way since mid-November.
January 22, 2013 – PAPUA NEW GUINEA – Eruptions of Papua New Guinea’s Mt Tavurvur have forced some flights in and out of New Britain to be cancelled. The ash and vapor blowing from the volcano affected flights to Tokua Airport. Air Niugini says the flight suspension came into effect on Monday and will continue for an indefinite period. Newspaper reports say low to loud roaring and rumbling noises were heard on Sunday night when the volcano erupted.
Tavurvur is an active volcano that lies near Rabaul in Papua New Guinea. It is a sub-vent of the Rabaul caldera and lies on the eastern rim of the larger feature. The volcano is most well known for its devastating eruptions over Rabaul. Mt Tavurvur is the most well known volcano in Rabaul caldera, and has erupted as recently as January 2009. January 22, 2013 – INDONESIA - Indonesia’s meteorology and geophysics agency put the preliminary magnitude at 6.0 (5.9 USGS) and said the inland quake caused no tsunami. It was centered southwest of the city of Banda Aceh and 10 miles (6 kilometers) beneath the earth’s crust, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake hit about 5:22 a.m. (22:22 GMT Monday), rattling people awake in towns and villages across the Sumatra Island’s northern tip. A magnitude-4.7 aftershock quake followed a few minutes later. Sarjani Abdullah, the district head of Pidie, said a 9-year-old girl was found dead in the ruins of her home.
January 22, 2013 – BRAZIL – A rather shallow 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck the ocean floor just off the coast of Brazil, south of the popular tourist destination of Natal. The eastern coast of Brazil is relatively free from faults and is not located on the border of any major tectonic plates. So this earthquake is quite unusual. January 21, 2013 – EUROPE — Hundreds of flights were cancelled and road and rail traffic was severely disrupted across much of Europe on Monday, as heavy snow and freezing weather gripped the continent. Frankfurt airport, Germany’s main air hub, cancelled around 500 departing and arriving flights, representing 40 percent of its daily schedule. The busiest airport in Europe, London Heathrow, scrapped nearly 200 flights. Heathrow said a decision was taken 24 hours in advance to cancel 130 flights because visibility was expected to deteriorate as the day wore on, but problems elsewhere in Europe were having an impact too.
Well, I would imagine anyone looking at the picture to the left could swear it was moving, yet in fact it is not. It is amazing what placing a few lines in different colors into a certain pattern can create. Our eyes are tricked into believing the pattern is moving and because our eyes see it and our mind wants to as well. This picture is a grand example of what we are experiencing in the world today. A grand illusion on all levels, many seeing the fallacy of everything taking place and still many more totally in denial keeping their eyes squeezed wide shut. It really is a case of having our feet in two worlds. Many may be out of the illusion thankfully, but they are still saddled with being surrounded by folks either still drinking the Koolaid or those such as the media doing the dirty work for the dark ones, pumping out lie after lie in an effort to sway us into seeing the world the way they want us to view it.

Yesterday across our country it was Martin Luther King, Jr. day. It is also the birthday of Benjamin Franklin (1706), American printer, journalist, inventor, philosopher, philanthropist, diplomat, and author. While our hearts and minds are appreciatively focused on the power of holding to our ideals I suggest we take a conscious few minutes today to merge with the energy (consciousness) of these men as we place a new President in office. These two souls spent a few eternal moments as Martin and Ben, coming to inspire us with the ideas of Freedom, Equality, and Unity. Their lives were the action of the consciousness they embodied. The ripples from what they believed was right and true still reach us today and is evidenced President Obama.
