The Golf Club Radio Show ® broadcasting state-wide talking to Hawaii's Golf Pros and across America sports shrinks, authors, mental coaches and PGA broadcasters  Saturdays.

For 14 years Danielle has hosted the show.

She encourages women to join in the golf game, "traditionally" historically been the "man's" game. She openly expresses the problems of intimidation by men on the course in various ways. About 1 month ago she interviewed a lady "plant" on 3 different courses. One was an older role, one a young, cute female and a third, more professional ltype. The results were swadly humorous... and I am sure you ladies reading this can surely imagine how each was treated differently.

It is for this reason - the truth of past intimidation that women now must crack this old patriarchical abuse. So many ladies have accepted this bizarre treatment, it had become so common, that even women were hesitant to call it abuse.

This morning was an example.... while Danielle was interviewing a female author, Leslie Andrews who wrote a book directed toward women on the course.... a more prominent male golf pro from Great Britain had his mike open, so that during the whole interview with the author he was interjecting comments in the background appearing to be talking to himself. When it was his turn to be interviewed, Danielle pointed out to him that he was heard quite loudly....     and he just chuckled.

So, it's a wall to be broken down. Do it anyway. Speak louder. It doesn't take much, just courage. Talk to your male mates and friends. Recall and convey how you have felt. Probably easier for older women... you youngsters have almost totally lived in the abusive structure... thinking it was "life on earth".

As western women heal their own personal wounds... the catastrophies of the sexual torture of many African sisters which is going on in this minute.. will lessen and then end.; You must understand that time and space mean nothing... as you awaken and heal you heal the ALL.

Ms. Andrews has written how for a woman to be "successful" on the golf course there are a couple of focal points.  Beyond the idea of being a good swing, it is critical to build relationships with other golfers, specifically other male golfers. She says just as in a good business ,it is the relationships which make a business prosper. Customer service.. the smile... a little appropriate humor. Women are beginning to dress her own style in golf.  For centuries the men were all wearing those same dumb looking outfits and I'm sure judged each other in the process. When women cautiously joined in... wore similar styles. Well, hell's bells... after Tiger anything goes!  Maybe he broke a subconscious mold.  There is a miracle in everything!

I bless you all in your vision of personal freedom.  Watch for the signs of where you get "stuck" and break free!
