The New Moon is Saturday, September 15 at 8:11PM Mountain Daylight Time. This is a great time to work with the themes of the month and to commit to a new action plan, set some new goals and then show the universe you are serious by taking one little baby action step towards something on your list. Actions speak louder than words and certainly louder than anything written. So do something to show that you serious about what you have chosen and where you are headed. Some of what is on this new action plan may be a bit surprising to you,but if you have had a clear message from spirit to do something even if it was "not in your plan", you better listen.

Sun and Moon in Virgo – 23º

It's crunch time at the collective level. The square between Pluto and Uranus is again reaching exactitude on September 19. This is the second pass of seven over three years – 2012 to 2015, two each year, roughly spring and fall, and the last one occurring spring of 2015. We're in a revolutionary/evolutionary zone which all can sense, even though we cannot know the final outcome because we are creating it as we go along out of our thoughts, feelings, visions and actions! Each one of these exact contacts of Uranus and Pluto acts as an intensifier and magnifier of this transpersonal energy that seeks to unlock our most disturbing, inner closeted energy (Pluto) and release and awaken us by giving us a reality jolt or a kick in the pants. It's collective energy, so every society on the planet has their own lessons to learn, but we all have these planets active in our personal charts as well – some more intensely than others. Our own personal breakthroughs and lessons contribute to the collective awakening more than we can calculate.

Let's remember that Uranus has everything to do with democracy. All-out transformation of the political structure is what people are crying for, no matter which side of the color spectrum – red or blue – you may be on. Pluto is at its most powerful now as it has slowed to a stand still in the heavens and is poised to return to direct motion after five months consolidating energy to create a powerful release at its second square with Uranus. An irresistible force meets a volatile object!
A similar configuration of hard aspects to Uranus and Pluto occurred in the 1930's that were characterized by a huge economic crash and the rise of fanatic political views that lead to World War II. This current Uranus-Pluto cycle originated in the conjunction of the mid-60's notable for cultural and sexual freedom, anti-war activity, civil unrest, Moon landings and feminism. My point is, when these two outer planets meet, it signals huge social events that the collective consciousness requires at that particular time for further growth. The coming together of Uranus/Pluto symbolizes the further conscious awakening to who and what we are. So, some need to have it acted out overtly – don't take it personally. We are being offered a huge opportunity to create in a new way, to imagine, think and manifest in one fell swoop! Uranus (sign of inspired genius) will help us to create with quantum field support, and Pluto (God of the Underworld) will help us empty the trash of outmoded emotional programs, thinking habits and beliefs that supported the constructs for the concrete reality that has lead us to the end of this particular time frame represented, let's say, by the end of this Mayan calendar (or Kali Yuga, Age of Pisces, etc.). We will no longer have to live solely in the world of 'doing'. We can integrate our relationship to the divine and acknowledge our inner, receptive stillness of 'being'.
This month we will see two planets act as triggers to the Uranus/Pluto square activating opportunities for growth and resulting growing pains (especially in the lower chakras). Squares signal crisis and dynamic stress that forces action. On September 20, Mercury, the ruling planet of this Virgo New Moon cycle, will bring verbal/mental confrontations or show you just what needs pruning in your daily life. Go for the challenge. You have everything to gain if you take the initiative and shake your life up even on the most mundane levels. Makes choices, eliminate and commit. The ripples outward will revitalize you.
Late in the month in conjunction with the Aries Full Moon, the Sun will move into position with the Uranus/Pluto square to bring its powerful, personal challenge to align our selves with the revolutionary/evolutionary energies of the times and test our willingness to 'Let go and let God'. If you're taking steps to awaken and bring conscious awareness to where you have fallen asleep or become unconsciously numb, then you are riding the edge of this dynamic time.
The coming Full Moon (September 29) will very likely be a notably powerful time, so now is the window at New Moon to set your intention for what you want to create with this energy in your life.
Honor and celebrate the Fall Equinox on Saturday, September 22 as the Sun moves into Libra. After the full out, open fruitfulness of summer, we stand at the turning point in perfect harmony with the light and the dark-equal day, equal night. We pause, honor and celebrate the fertility that has come into ripeness and the abundance and gifts we have received for our nourishment and support. We will now begin to draw our energies inward, gather and store, prune and eliminate, and prepare for the gifts the darkness of winter brings.
