For those who read the Oracle Report by Laura on a daily basis, we often hear her suggest that we be the wise owls in our trees looking out and paying attention to what is going on around us. I also think it is the mission of the wise owls to awaken others, at least those willing to listen and who seem interested in learning. Take time to be aware of those around you at all times and test the waters with them to see if they are open to waking up. Like I mentioned before, carry with you slips of paper with alternative website addresses to give them so they can research further on their own. Once we begin to go down the rabbit hole there is never a desire to turn back. Once we begin our journey down the hole, life changes forever. So just as the owl has taken time to alert the mouse to what it needs to know, we must do the same.
As we have discussed before, we all have our areas of expertise if you will and we all have something to bring to this table of change. Whatever you are good at, that knowledge should be able to pour out of you with confidence. Don’t take on subjects you really don’t know very much about, leave that for the next owl coming along behind you. If you speak to your passion it will flow easily and your energy will be high enough to pull in who you are talking to and capture them. When you feel secure in yourself and feel positive and full of light, that energy is what attracts others, so stay in your area of expertise and you will become a magnet of light!
As long as we are discussing taking time to awaken others, I think it is equally important to take time to stand up and speak out against any injustices we witness, especially ones filled with hate. Stand up to stop it and we will begin to see others stand up behind us as well. Times have changed and more and more people are becoming intolerant to hate because they are becoming love, so don’t be afraid. We shouldn’t entertain fear in our lives anyway. We tend to not speak out because we think we are still in the old world where one didn’t do such things. Wrong! Here is a great example of why we need to stand up and speak out. We can make a difference! The time of observing what is happening around us is over, it is time now to become involved in our world and step in to make a difference and be the difference!
I have said it before and I will say it again, we can be Wayshowers and be active at the same time. Just because we are fighting the good fight does not mean we are sucked in by the us versus them meme, in fact to do nothing to instigate change I find quite naive thinking. If we remember what Gandhi said “Be the change you wish to see”, he was both spiritual yet active in promoting change. To do nothing in my opinion is fool hardy. We are the change and we are making it happen everyday in small ways because this is our passion and our mission. People all over are waking up and we are living in different times now. Realize this and begin living your lives accordingly. The world when it was totally asleep was a very hostile place to be, with so many awake now life is very different and you’ll be surprised how many people have your back now. Have faith, we’re making progress!
